00:00So let's go to the American League.

00:01Let's talk about the New York Yankees, and that's the criteria.

00:04The three pitchers are Freed, Rodon, and Will Warren, question mark,

00:09and the three bats, I mean, judge, judge, and judge.

00:14Take it from there.

00:16Yeah, the judge, judge, and judge.

00:17But, I mean, I think when you look at the rest of the lineup,

00:23Wells had a big weekend.

00:25Ben Rice has been solid for this team.

00:27Goldschmidt and Bellinger just got D.J. LeMayhew back.

00:30So hopefully that helps a little bit.

00:31But, again, I don't think too much of him.

00:32We forget, you know, Jess Chisholm's still on the I.L.

00:35You know, they've got a lot of talent still,

00:36especially if Dominguez continues to go forward in the right direction.

00:41It's the Yankees' league to lose.

00:42The American League is just not good.

00:44It's a parody of mediocrity, and I keep trying to drive that home.

00:49Now, it makes for some exciting baseball.

00:50It makes for some difficult wagering.

00:52But I also think putting Luke Weaver back in that closer spot,

00:55which, you know what, I'm sure Devin Williams' agent isn't thrilled about it

00:59because he wants Devin Williams to get paid.

01:02But you can't argue with the results.

01:04Luke Weaver's been spectacular as the closer from last year

01:08all the way into this year when he's been called upon again.

01:11And I know Devin Williams has turned things around,

01:13but Clark Schmidt is decent enough, I think.

01:16And I could see the Yankees being a team that's willing to make a move

01:19for another starting pitcher.

01:21Now, maybe they don't.

01:22Maybe Luis Hill is the answer.

01:24They're going to be patient and get him back in a few months, too.

01:26Strowman's not the answer.

01:27Will Warren's been good.

01:29So perhaps it's Hill.

01:30Perhaps it's somebody outside of our minds right now

01:35when we're looking at who they might bring in.

01:37The problem is there's not a lot of teams right now

01:39that are decisively out of it that you want to pluck starters away from.

01:43It ain't the Rockies.

01:44It's not coming from in the division with the Baltimore Orioles.

01:47How control isn't saving you.

01:48I get it.

01:49Exactly.

01:50The White Sox, any of those teams.

01:52The Angels are playing well right now.

01:54That was a team people thought would be out of it.

01:56They're not.

01:56Yeah, I got trashed yesterday.

01:58I don't know.

01:59Do you want to take Luis Severino back from the athletics?

02:02I don't know.

02:03Like, if you want to go down that path again, probably not.

02:06So unless Sandy Alcantara turned things around in a quick fashion,

02:10it's going to be kind of tricky here for the Yankees.

02:12So I think they're probably looking at Luis Hill being that third man,

02:16so to speak.

02:17You know, we all know it was Hogan once upon a time.

02:19Now it might be Luis Hill.

02:21But I like the Yankees at plus 280.

02:22I think it's a good number.

02:23I think people should take it.

02:24Because at the end of the day, there's too much here in terms of what the

02:29other teams are lacking.

02:31Whereas the Yankees, I think it's more just a matter of staying healthy

02:35and getting back in there again.

02:36I think the Yankees can.

02:38I really do.
