00:00All right, let's move on and try to find some value in the American League Central.
00:03The Detroit Tigers sit atop at minus 390.
00:06Then there's the Twins.
00:07I don't think they have it in them.
00:09The Guardians, though, are an interesting conversation at plus 1100.
00:13If Shane Bieber comes back and all things get right and they add a bat or they call someone up,
00:18all of a sudden Jose Ramirez has some help.
00:20And speaking of call-ups, the Kansas City Royals round this out.
00:24I mean, if Jack comes up in the summer, it's going to be fun in KC, a lot of barbecue and stuff.
00:28But, Joe, tell me about the AL Central in your eyes.
00:31Yeah, well, they need Jack Aglio in the worst way.
00:34So hopefully he gets 50 at-bats in AAA and he continues to rake and he'll be up there sooner than later.
00:39But I have a hard time with the Tigers because Scoble's great.
00:43Flaherty is, you know, a solid number two there.
00:46I just don't believe in the rest of the rotation.
00:48And on top of that, I just don't know if I believe in the offense.
00:51It's a very – I want to give the Tigers credit.
00:55I don't want to, you know, be negative when it comes to the Tigers because it's a team that's had so much negativity around it for so long.
01:01And it's great that they made the playoffs last year.
01:03But Riley Green is a terrific player.
01:06Torkelson, Carpenter might be playing over the head a little bit.
01:09I know Javier Baez is playing over his head based on what we've seen.
01:12So I think the value lies elsewhere here.
01:15Now the Twins, you can argue, have the best rotation depth at least because you've got Lopez, you've got Ryan, you've got Bailey Ober.
01:23And then you've got guys like Festa, you know, guys like Paddock.
01:25You even have Zebby Matthews who, you know, struggled with efficiency yesterday but certainly showed you that big strikeout upside.
01:32The Guardians, I just don't think they have enough offense.
01:34The Royals have enough pitching.
01:36Eventually they get Reagans, Lugo, and Waka all going right with Bubich.
01:40That's fine, but they don't score any runs.
01:42I mean, they are just pitiful right now in terms of runs scored.
01:45And I think that is a huge problem right now.
01:49In fact, just to kind of give you context of how bad they've been, you know, the Kansas City Royals have 177 runs scored as a team.
01:58The only teams that have less are the Rangers, the Rockies, and the Pirates.
02:02That's how bad this offense is.
02:04So the Minnesota Twins are plus 650.
02:06If they can get Correa, Buxton, and dare I say Royce Lewis all playing on the field at the same time for, I don't know, 60 to 70 of the 100 remaining games in the season, is that asking too much?
02:19If you get that, I think it's the Twins division.
02:22I guess that's the problem, right?
02:23You just can't get that.
02:24So in a world where that happens, it's the Twins.
02:28Otherwise, it's open season right now.
02:30I don't think the Tigers are one runaway favorite, though.
02:33I will tell you that.
02:33I prefer the field to the Tigers for this division.
