00:00How concerned are you about the U.S. economy?

00:03The Democrats are saying it's going to cost working families absolute millions.

00:08It's actually not.

00:10It's going to help middle class, upper class, and the low-income individuals in this country.

00:17I think what they're focused on are Medicaid requirements.

00:20And for those of you who don't know what Medicaid is,

00:23it's basically a government insurance program for the needy and the poor.

00:27The Democrats over the years have expanded this program significantly under Obamacare,

00:33and this was a way to rein that in.

00:35So I think the Democrats are targeting that Medicaid is being reined in, which it should be.

00:40Medicaid is not meant for people to stay on Medicaid for the rest of their lives.

00:43There are work requirements now that come into place sooner.

00:47In other words, we expect you to go back to work, and that's by the end of 2026.

00:52And that's why you saw the House Democrat leader, Hakeem Jeffries,

00:58he really didn't put up a fight on this bill.

01:00They didn't vote for it, but they didn't put up a fight either

01:03because the tax cuts do actually help millions of Americans in all tax brackets.
