Family of Missing Mexican Man Offers US$50,000 Reward

The search continues for a Mexican man who went missing off of one of Taiwan's beaches. His family has now arrived in Taiwan in hopes of finding him, and are offering a US$50,000 reward for his rescue.

00:07This is Green Island. We believe he's around here or to the north of Taiwan, right down of Okinawa Island.

00:15We are all very sad. I'm trying to be strong for my parents.

00:1923-year-old Diego Dorante Sanchez was reported missing last week.

00:24It's assumed he was swept out to sea after swimming at a beach on Taiwan's outlying Green Island with France.

00:30Sanchez's family says they believe he is still alive.

00:34Taiwan's Coast Guard has carried out an extensive search, so far to no avail.
