00:00The EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaya Kalas expressed strong support for North Macedonia's EU integration on Friday.

00:10On her final stop of her three-day Western Balkans tour,

00:14Brussels has revived EU membership talks with Southeast Europe countries after Russia's invasion of Ukraine,

00:22fearing Moscow could exploit regional instability.

00:25We clearly see these different big powers shifting and tectonic shifts.

00:34So it is in our interest, if we look at the map, because Western Balkans are in Europe,

00:40that we are all fully integrated, because the European Union is a peace project.

00:45Kalas praised North Macedonia's progress and urged its continued reforms amid geopolitical tensions.

00:53On Thursday, Kalas said the EU has begun to lift sanctions on Kosovo.

00:59North Macedonia is a EU-candidate country.

01:03However, Kosovo is still only a potential candidate.
