00:00European Council President Antonio Costa praised Montenegro's progress towards European Union membership

00:09during his first official visit to the country.

00:12He urged leaders to maintain momentum on reforms and policy coordination,

00:16particularly in support of lasting peace in Ukraine.

00:20Speaking at a joint press conference with Montenegro's president,

00:24Costa commended the country's reform efforts

00:27and noted that the European Parliament had overwhelmingly recognized Montenegro's progress just the day before.
