Ukraine will do 'anything' to advance EU accession talks despite Hungary veto, Zelenskyy says

00:07said at the opening ceremony of the Danish EU presidency in Aarhus. He spoke on the side of

00:20of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. Frederiksen vowed to support Ukraine's quest to
00:27join the bloc, emphasizing that quote-unquote Ukraine belongs to the European family and NATO.
00:33Denmark aims to use its Presidency of the EU Council to put maximum pressure on Hungary,
00:38who have previously vetoed Ukraine's membership negotiations.
00:43It comes as Russia continues to intensify its attacks on Ukraine,
00:48and the United States recently announced they would halt some promised weapons to Kyiv.
00:52When asked about the pause in military assistance, Zelensky noted he will speak with U.S. President
00:58Donald Trump soon, but did not go into further detail. The Ukrainian president instead called
01:04on the European Union to invest more in Kyiv's defense industry.
