00:00Let's hear from the MVP, who was able to hoist the hardware last night in front of the home crowd in OKC ahead of game number two.
00:08Shea, you obviously had that wonderful moment last night with your teammates.
00:12What did it feel like for you to be out there at midcourt and receiving that award and then to go out and play the way you did?
00:20Yeah, it felt really good.
00:21I feel like my emotions are like so high that I was like a little bit like tired out there, especially to start.
00:30I was like a little too juiced up.
00:32But yeah, special moment.
00:35I'm happy we won so I can like really enjoy the last couple of days and soak it all up.
00:39That really helps.
00:40But yeah, shout out to the team.
00:42Played well again tonight and heading to Minnesota up 2-0.
00:45Pretty well summed up right there, DRS, by the MVP, SGA, in a game-high 38 points last night, clearing his 31.5 points prop in game number two.
00:58Yeah, how about that?
00:59Looks like he's about to shoot a video with Usher right there.
01:01You know what I mean?
01:01He looks good.
01:02I look at you.
01:05I mean, come on, man.
01:06Give me exactly.
01:09We don't know the words.
01:12Yeah, exactly.
01:12But maybe disavow Usher.
01:15Yeah, just while certain things are happening.
01:17He likes it my way.
01:18Oh, man, come on now.
01:19I mean, the guy was planting seeds yesterday.
01:21It was fantastic.
01:22But having said this, I understand where he's coming from.
01:24Anybody ever played a sport you're really excited for a game, whether it's basketball or particularly football?
01:28I used to get a kick out of this.
01:30You'd be so excited to play.
01:31You'd want to run five-yard out and be like, I felt like I just ran a marathon.
01:35How am I going to play 65 to 70 more plays at this point?
01:38Good to see you calmed down, played a great game.
01:40But I see where he's coming from.
01:42I'm like, I was never the MVP of anything, per se.
01:44But, you know, ultimate athletes get tired on the first play.
01:48And I'm like, man, we got a long way to go right now.
01:50So, understand what SGA was going through there.
01:52And he was fantastic last night.
01:53Got it together in a big way.
01:55My co-host, Donnie Wrightside, an impeccable ability to take the highest of athletic achievement and correlate it to his D3 playing pace as a wide receiver at WP.
02:08After the MVP performs like an MVP, that's DRS.
02:12And Shea Gildress Alexander seemingly close to adding another trophy to the mantle in his home.
02:19He is a minus 1,000 favorite, Donnie Wrightside, to win Western Conference Finals MVP with his Thunder team up 2-0 in this Western Conference Finals.
02:30Minus 1,000.
02:32Really, how can you fault the odds makers?
02:3431 for Shea in game number one.
02:37A game-high 38 points last night.
02:39Yeah, and by the way, just taking a look at the Western Conference Finals number for Oklahoma City to advance, it's minus 2,200.
02:45So, to be honest, like, I would never pay a minus 1,000.
02:49He's going to get that.
02:51Do you want to actually take the minus 1,200?
02:53Hey, he might get hurt, which, again, anybody can get hurt.
02:55But it seems like a minus 1,000, if there's any time to say, Ben, that could be a bargain, boy, it feels like a bargain right now after two games.
03:03Yes, it certainly does, DRS, because I don't understand how Oklahoma City would win this series in four or five games.
03:10And Shea Gilgis-Alexander not win the Western Conference Finals MVP hardware.
03:16Again, if you're going to lay a hefty price in some form or fashion for OKC to have success, that is your better number.
03:23Because as Donnie laid out in comparison to the Thunder's number to win this series in advance to the NBA Finals, minus 2,200 for OKC.
03:34They were minus 750 entering game two last night.
03:37They were minus 375 entering game number one.
03:42And, Donnie, you can see the expectation there.
03:44The Thunder laying two and a half games in the series spread, now heavily juiced at minus 230.
03:50For OKC to cover that, they would have to win in five.
03:55And so for OKC to win in five, you see that number, plus 176.
04:02We both thought this might get to at least six in a tightly contested series.
04:07It is really trending to being done sooner rather than later.
04:11It is.
04:12But also understand this.
04:14The optics of, boy, we're not feeling good about the Minnesota Timberwolves.
04:17Maybe they don't win the series.
04:18You're not going to beat OKC four out of five games.
04:20I think we get that.
04:21But that doesn't mean that you can't, you know, bite off a little bit more than you could chew by winning a game number three to get back into the series.
04:27Heavy favorites were OKC on their home court, rightfully so, as the series shifts back to Minnesota.
04:33Not so heavy favorites here.
04:34So there's a chance it's a kitchen sink game.
04:36But just watching those first two games, there's no surprise.
04:38We weren't surprised OKC is sitting here, a 2-0 series leading the Western Conference Finals.
04:42They're supposed to do that, as opposed to, like, the Pacers or the Knicks, like, hey, they're lucky to be here at this point, right?
04:48Not the case here with OKC.
04:49They're better to win, but can we get a game number three rise up?
04:52That's all.
