00:00Here's Chris Finch, the head coach of the Timberwolves.
00:04Basically nothing went right last night.
00:07Nothing.
00:07I thought, again, we didn't close the half very well.
00:11I thought if we close the half better, you know,
00:13then we don't put ourselves on such a razor edge in the third.
00:18Excuse me.
00:18We only had six turnovers at halftime.
00:21We had a few more in the third quarter.
00:23You know, missed some shots.
00:26You know, didn't finish at the basket.
00:28And then, you know, led to a bunch of stuff in early attack mode for them.
00:34With the way these two games have played out,
00:35just what do you have to say to your guys?
00:37What are you looking for going back home?
00:40Every minute in a series is a chance to find something.
00:44You know, so we're going to go back home.
00:46This is a good team, good team at home.
00:48So we're going to go home and, you know, fight for game three.
00:51I mean, heads up and look at the tape and get ready for game three.
00:56I think they'll go home.
00:57And what I think I'll see, believe it or not,
00:59is they're going to pour in threes in that game three at the target center.
01:04They shoot better there.
01:06They play better there.
01:08Like all teams, for the most part, play better in their building.
01:11With their sight lines and everything else,
01:13they know where their comfort spots are,
01:15and they get to their spaces, and they knock down shots.
01:18I guarantee you they will go off in that third game because really they have no alternative.
01:25If they don't, they're going to get swept.
01:29And it's, you know, if they go down three, it's like humiliating.
01:33It really is.
01:33Like most teams, like remember the Leafs, they won the two,
01:37and then Florida went home and they won the two games.
01:39So go down, you know, to your building and get it done.
01:47You know, win the game, whatever it takes.
01:49In fact, I would play dirty as well because that Thunder team runs,
01:55and they get out, and they get going.
01:58And you know what?
01:59Where I come from, you got to get to a point where you're like,
02:02we're just done with this.
02:03We're not having all this running and breaking out and numbers and,
02:07you know, advantages.
02:09We're going to take some people out.
02:11You're not running up the court.
02:13I'll trip you.
02:14You're not going anywhere.
02:15I will elbow you in the nose.
02:17Oh, was that not the greatest thing you ever saw in your life last night?
02:20Scott Foster breaking his nose.
02:22Was that not the greatest thing you've ever seen with him gushing blood
02:26the first minute of the game when he got jacked on that jump ball on his nose?
02:30I enjoyed every minute of that.
02:32But I find him painful.
02:34He's real painful.
02:35What I found painful was two things about that.
02:38One, like we stopped the game for like five minutes to fix it.
02:42Like, let's go.
02:43Scrape him up.
02:44Get him out.
02:44Put someone else in if he's taking that long to get ready.
02:47And two, did they need to go to the, you know, their dopey rules official?
02:53Jake Javis or whatever his name is.
02:54They just have to find ways to wedge these people into the game somehow.
03:00The ref gets a bloody nose.
03:02Let's bring in our rules official to find out what happens in these situations.
03:07Well, what happens, Dave?
03:08Well, they clean him up and they stuff paper up his nose.
03:11They tried about a guy.
03:12You see the guy cut his eye one year and had seven stitches.
03:15Oh, my goodness.
03:17It doesn't end.
03:18These ref people that they put on.
03:21Okay.
03:26.
03:27.
