00:00Dementia Awareness Week
00:04Dementia Awareness Week is a time where we as a society can get out there.
00:09Days like today is also about spreading awareness about how it helps with the wellbeing
00:15to make them feel good and if they feel good that helps the dementia.
00:20It's been ten years doing this job and it's one of the most unique opportunities I've been given.
00:30Thank you to Hull Trains, thank you to the Alzheimer's Society and it was nice to do something to support that cause.
00:36The whole experience Hull Trains did for us today, everything was right for what people with dementia need to support them to go on trips.
00:46It actually takes the fear out of doing something new.
00:50For a lot of them today, they haven't done this for a long time. They all did remarkable.
00:58I think it's just fantastic what the people are doing for this.
01:03It's been absolutely brilliant.
01:04Yes, I enjoyed this.
01:06And you like the music, don't you?
01:08That's right, it's really good.
01:10You're doing something different.
01:11Yeah, yeah.
01:12And it's nice seeing you.
01:16It was really nice to see the support people with them as well.
01:22Because also as a carer of someone with dementia, that can be stressful at times.
01:27But today, every single person thoroughly enjoyed their self.
01:32And it was just so lovely to see them smiling.
01:35To work with Hull Trains, you've been absolutely amazing.
01:38We felt like royalty.
01:40Absolutely incredible.
01:42And we cannot thank keiner they do us.
