00:21or three to one plus 250 i mean does this just say more about the field or something here because

00:27i mean this is insane well we go back to comparisons with tiger once again if you do recall

00:35craig it was you know year 2000 we're talking 25 years ago tiger i i believe there were tournaments

00:43that tiger went off at even money and if you got him at like two to he was two to one in major

00:48championships sometimes maybe three to one and now scotty is in that territory for the u.s open he

00:54was like plus 450 or something like that and now he's just a little bit better than three to one

00:59to win in exactly i believe three weeks from now uh at oakmont uh for the u.s open so there's another

01:07parallel with tiger woods but you know and actually i don't think the number is that bad i i couldn't

01:13get there with a bet though it's interesting the next closest guy on the odds board is daniel berger

01:19who's at 22 to 1 and you're like are you telling me that scotty scheffler has a 10 times better chance

01:26to win this tournament than daniel berger and i guess maybe that's true you know it's it's just

01:33incredible i do i expect him to win this week not necessarily do i expect him to contend absolutely

01:39he's been there a couple years ago losing to sam burns at this golf tournament he was there last

01:45year being held off by davis riley in this golf tournament we know he loves to play in his home

01:50state of texas where they are this is a classic golf course this is the longest running venue on the

01:57pga tour other than the masters this is the 79th time they've played a tournament at colonial country

02:03club a real classic that held the u.s open in 1941 ben hogan won here five times and you know scotty's

02:10into that history of the game too so i'm sure he would love to grab what would be his third straight

02:16win now uh here this week of course winning the byron nelson before the the pga championship and now

02:22trying to bookend it with colonial and then next week we go to another legends place the memorial

02:27jack nicholas is joined i think when i look at some of the long shot odds here brady and some of these

02:34names i have a feeling that you got a better shot this week honestly than you did last week i mean

02:39didn't it didn't work out too well last week uh but i've never heard of uh let's see thorborn
