00:09from the pga championship we get back on the grind with the charles schwab challenge at colonial in
00:16fort worth texas of course cam stewart the prime minister is here as he is every golf wednesday
00:22to get ready with the picks to preview etc etc cam good to see you as always you know before we get
00:28there i had i was just telling you during the break i i was i don't get down much i love the golf i love
00:35playing the golf i love it took me about 48 hours i was beat up i mean when that guy just runs away
00:40and hides cam and i know there was a little point on sunday where rom teased a little bit you never
00:46thought that sheffler was going to lose that golf tournament from saturday night about five when
00:51bryson went and threw up on himself on 16 and 17 on saturday from that point you knew it was over
00:58and it was a little disheartening cam watch oh it's crazy i got rom at 25 to one and there was
01:03one hedge point but i'm thinking you know what whatever whatever's going to happen is going to
01:06happen and the best is i got a bet boost this week carver sheffler to win by three or more strokes
01:12plus 350 the guy's plus 250 in the turn thanks for the bet i'm gonna tell you something maybe this
01:18guy over four to one he's an automatic play but you did something very creative that will get to
01:23that first round leader number a hell of a line you know what he's been coming out of the gate hot
01:27you get six times the value carver good pick that's that's it we'll talk about it when we get there and
01:33that's how i'm lining them up uh so here we go the charles schwab challenge why don't we look first
01:38cam and see uh what do we got here with us well of course we have scotty sheffler who's uh plus 240
01:45before they even hit a ball which as we know can this guy take a week off carver can he just spend some
01:51time with his family like you it would be great wolf lodge with the kids by great wolf lodge
01:55like please and stay there for an extended period of time probably got great wolf lodge in his
02:00backyard camp i mean he probably got everything he gave about his backyard daniel berger jordan
02:05spieth matsuyama fleetwood mcneely uh are all here as well aaron rye harry english who finished
02:12to add what a finish for him at the pga championship this past week all right uh so look let's get into
02:19this first um there are a lot of without scheffler markets this week cam i i don't know if i want to
02:27just play those um and or maybe just sprinkle a little half and half maybe take what i would
02:32normally play on the outright market and do 50 50 or 75 25 because i don't know if i want to get
02:38involved with this guy again this week because he'll probably win again great call and i don't know what i
02:41did carver i reduced my top 10s 30s and 20s 30s and 40s and added to the first round leader market
02:47because that's the fun market for me and you and it's one that we hit a lot so you got to play it
02:51you're right though we got to bet without scheffler if you this guy could be there again
02:55these numbers are of course that i'm going to give you are the uh straight out rights with
02:59scheffler included you bring a couple bucks off of each of these and you could probably get that on
03:04the without scheffler market i'm going see who kim at 40 to 1 this week i think see who's been
03:09playing great cam he hasn't been able to put the entire four rounds together and finish it off on the
03:14weekend but maybe he could finally do that but actually bati his number kind of jumped out at me
03:1970 to 1 at this course i know he hasn't played well but he shouldn't be down the board below some
03:26of the names and stooges that he is uh on this board this week so i'm going to take a shot with
03:31bati and the same thing with tom kim 90 to 1 for now all right fine i'll bite i'll go for tom kim this
03:38week at 90 to 1 because i he could show up any week cam and suddenly uh you start winning golf
03:42tournaments again eric cole at 100 and tom hoagie at 100 i think cam for both of these guys these
03:48are great courses for cole and hoagie couldn't have said it any better great numbers i'm gonna
03:52add hoagie to my uh the hoagie sandwich to my card this is it if cole can finally win for us carver
03:57this will take all the scheffler bad vibes away i'm going with uh ryan ginger 35 to 1 carver's right
04:02we should get him a little bit higher but perfect course for him he's a precision ball striker and
04:07that's what you need at colonial jt post and a hot player right now 55 to 1 jj spawn i know brady's a
04:13big fan brady cannon loves the spawn man and i love him too 55 davis thompson another guy that keeps

04:50postman always rings twice top 20 at plus 180 davis riley won here a year ago at a huge number we'll go
04:57top 20 and what he just finished t second uh cam at the pga championship this past week all right t20
05:03for him at plus 220 and i'm going for the phillips screwdriver this week carl phillips for a t20 at
05:10plus 650 harvard's coming over to put my bed frame and tv to get mount to tv with the phillips

05:22my girlfriend had harris english last week if you can believe it she's a better golf capper than me
05:27she throws darts ryan harman top 20 plus 190 gerard watch out for ryan gerard cover he's
05:32becoming one of my favorites this guy is a leaderboard machine plus 210 and batia you said
05:37it plus 230 for a top 20 sign me up first round leaders for me cam i'm going to the same strategy
05:44i did a couple weeks ago with scotty scheffler when he was also in texas i'm just gonna play for first
05:49round leader if he's gonna go smash everybody he'll probably get off to a good start and i'm getting 11
05:53to 1 when the guy's plus 240 to win the entire tournament amazing all right let's go 11 to 1 keith
05:59mitchell is almost a must on thursdays now at 55 to 1 little mac hughes at 65 to 1 this week jake
06:05afternoon nap at 70 tom hokey at 75 and this slamming sammy valamaki has been a great thursday
06:10player also cam i think we got to keep him on the card at 100 to 1 and i'll go with the villips
06:15screwdriver again i think he's going to play really well this week 110 to 1 for first round i gotta add
06:20villips and you're right man i'm telling you valamaki is a one-day warrior tommy fleet with 35 to 1 i don't
06:26expect them to win but i expect them to be around the top after the first round 40 to 1 for rye
06:30but tay at 65 to 1 that's a great number hoagie sandwich 75 cam davis a great thursday player at 80
06:37to 1 cole riding them for everything carver i'm all in he's a buffet at 85 to 1 at e v r eric von
06:44royan at 95 to 1 let's rock yeah i'll have to do cole for first round leader too we'll just so
06:50imagine he's leading if we have him at 101 you will lose your mind the cold cane i i have to
06:56cover because you're right i could see him leading thursday and then like falling apart saturday or
07:01sunday and then we don't get the full payoff so i'll be there cam let's get back on the horse here
07:06this week down at colonial next week the memorial getting involved looks like no rory either for the
07:12memorial next week he's still in the hiding camp he's gonna hide out and we're back in for this

07:30at the colonial uh in fort worth texas uh after a big pga championship win for scotty scheffler
07:37on sunday keith good to see you as always my man it was fun at quail i mean it wasn't fun if you
07:44bet on anybody but scotty but it was a fun uh fun weekend at quail it was an incredible weekend at
07:49quail and you know you and i we were together all week last week wednesday thursday friday and the
07:55leaderboard kept building and we knew everyone you know pump the brakes johnny vegas isn't winning
07:59this thing ryan gerard's not winning this thing you know everyone in the media centers freaking out
08:03about there's no big names on the board and then by the end it was rom bryson and scotty going head
08:08to head and and we had a we had a pretty good clash of the titans it's too bad zeus is on his game these
08:14days and uh i don't think it's the charles schwab challenge this week i think it's the scotty
08:18scheffler challenge this week i don't usually keith like um i get so annoyed that i don't want to watch
08:26the golf but i almost got it this weekend because like when bryson did what he did on saturday on
08:3316 and 17 when he was right in there me and you were both on bryant we we wanted bryson so bad to
08:40be involved in this thing all the way through you knew he was kind of done after what happened on 16
08:45and 17 on saturday you just knew when you put your head on the pillow that scheffler was going to win
08:50and and that's always tough and yes there were other tickets that we had in play and other things going
08:56on but from like a a drama perspective keith it sucks so much out of it when scotty's got that kind
09:03lead going into sunday so i was walking step by step with bryson on saturday afternoon on his back
09:09nine and we're on the 17th hole he takes the lead on 15 we're coming down 16 you know a bad bad non
09:17make that you know he doesn't make that par putt but i didn't think that would rattle him and he hits
09:22the nine iron and at the time that he's hitting the nine iron it literally bounces hits that bank and
09:26drops in the water we all go oh at the same exact moment michael across the pond over at 14 scotty's
09:33drive is rolling up to two feet nine inches and i turned i looked at the guy next to me and i was
09:39like colonial that was it like scotty makes eagle bryson makes double and the tournament was
09:45effectively over and hey everyone made a run on saturday afternoon but you know scotty just kills you
09:51it's it's like death by a thousand paper cuts he's not gonna make a ton of mistakes and he lets
09:56everybody else do it he's like i mean if this was top gun he'd be ice man he certainly would uh and
10:03we'll get to scotty in a little bit again for this week because i know he's a stupid number uh at plus
10:08240 but we've got to find some ways to actually play him so we move on now uh to the colonial and this
10:14is like kind of like a little pit stop now scotty's playing uh and you have a couple of other names that
10:19are playing and scotty's probably only playing he loves playing the texas events obviously uh with
10:24him being down there and then we get it cranked up again next week at the memorial uh tell us a
10:29little bit anything changes this week i mean this is always kind of the same we've been at the colonial
10:33for a long time now keith is there anything we need to look out for this week is there any weather
10:37concerns etc etc well there's probably three concerns i can think of number one is that about a year ago
10:44it went through the course went through an extensive renovation so the you know the pga tour has almost
10:48been here 80 years but gil hans and jill wagner came in between you know just prior to the 2024
10:54edition of this and they redid the whole golf course and they took it back to its roots to its
10:58perry maxwell original design and we saw a lot of guys using more of the ground game last year now
11:03last year was a little bit soft due to the weather this year it's been firm right now i just looked at
11:07the weather before i came out with you it's 92 degrees in fort worth right it is going to be firm
11:12and fast you got to account for around the green acumen it's going to be you know there's going to be
11:17some bounce through the fairways into that bermuda grass rough we're going to have bermuda grass there's
11:21not going to be a ton of overseed so the second thing is is that what you know when it comes to
11:26the changes of what's gone on down there you know the weather itself is that it's going to keep it that
11:32way there's a little chance of a storm like on late thursday night but it's like a 12 chance of
11:38like maybe two tenths of an inch right maybe just enough just to feed the grass to make you know
11:43the rough a little bit more um difficult over the weekend now the weekend itself is going to be windy
11:49it's gonna be just like it was at quail hollow it's gonna be difficult conditions and the third thing
11:53is that if you ever thought scotty was going to take a week off he's there in his hometown again of
11:58dallas fort worth in the last three years he's finished second lost in a playoff to sam burns back
12:03in 22 in 23 he finished one shot off the lead of a playoff and he finished third and then last year
12:08he finished second again and he got boat raced by davis riley by five strokes so if he was going
12:13to mail it in it's not going to be at a place where he just went two three two and he's in his
12:17hometown those three things add up to a very short number for mr scheffler yeah and it is a very short
12:25number and i think even before we do your outrights um and me and cam were talking earlier when we did our
12:30picks that i think that we we don't like to do it but i think you have to now for a week like this
12:36you have to utilize the without scotty market this week like it really because it's him and everyone
12:45else i mean it's not even like there's a xander or rory or there's like like it is an enormous gap
12:50between him and the field so is that how you're looking to play it this week mike three weeks ago
12:57he went to dallas right to the cj cup tpc craig ranch a golf course that was easy for everyone and he
13:04beat everybody by eight he opened up with 10 under par he beat everyone by eight then he went to a
13:10golf course in a major championship conditions that he never played before for 72 holes a stroke play
13:14and he won by five could have won by seven had he not had a mud ball could have won by eight if he
13:18doesn't bogey the last hole and now we're going to a golf course that actually fits him you know nearly
13:2350 of your approach shots are coming from 125 to 175 like that's his wheelhouse and he's putting
13:30really really well the thing is the thing is about scotty right now if he wants to really build
13:36build legacy is that he needs to start to put runs together of winning tournaments in a row and i'm
13:41sure he knows that he's got this he's got memorial where he won last year he's got the u.s
13:45open coming travelers where he's defending he could pull off five six in a row here so you know for me
13:50there's without a shadow of a doubt we're not betting him at plus 200 240 in fact i think that
13:55number's too high the whole thing for me is the without scotty market yeah is there anything else
14:01uh we could do with him i'm gonna do what i did a few weeks ago i'm gonna play first round leader
14:05again i'm gonna play first round leader again because if he's gonna blow everybody away 11 to
14:11one uh that sounds great to me as opposed to plus 240 keith you know so we will uh find out what you
14:16think of that and your entire card and i think the ladies are also uh back in play in mexico this
14:23week so we will get it all done when we come back keith stewart from read the line here with

14:39all right keith since we did all the scotty tell us how else you want to play him and then we'll do
14:43the outrights without scotty market which you're gonna have well you gotta be creative mike at this
14:48point and we're not gonna go for four rounds at plus 240 or plus 200 or 260 whatever the number is
14:53but i'll go one round at plus 1200 which is what the number was where i got him for first round
14:58leader go back to dallas right shot 61 10 under the first day and if you go look at the pga tour
15:04website in stats there's keith mitchell and then sitting there in second is scotty scheffler with
15:09the second best scoring average on thursday afternoons i'm also going to take him for third
15:12round leader because if he does start slow by the time he gets to saturday night he will be in
15:17position just like he was at quail hollow he's plus 300 there it's a bigger number and i've only got to go
15:22through 54 54 holes in order to get there so in my mind there's less chance of somebody else sliding
15:28in there so that that's how i'm going to deal with scotty this week i i think of it as compounding
15:31interest yeah i bet him as many ways as i can and then just hope that he goes wire to wire and then
15:36that's the only way you can collect yeah it's you gotta get like you said you said the perfect word is
15:41creative that's really what you have to be with scotty scheffler going forward all right keith uh your
15:46outrights which i guess as we just mentioned are going to be in the without scotty market uh this week
15:51yeah all the numbers that uh they'll put up in the graphic i'm sure are without scotty first one
15:56daniel berger he won here in 2020 and what's significant about that is that that was just
16:01coming out of covet it was like the second or third event it was like a major championship field
16:05and he took everybody down so he's obviously very comfortable here you know we know how good he has
16:10been all season since february but the putter it seems to go off like once or twice around
16:15which is like top 20 well i think he's coming back to a place with these perfect brand new greens
16:21bent grass he's obviously comfortable here he's won here before i like berger he's one of the
16:26favorites without scotty in the market like right around plus 1800 jt poston plus 3300 without scotty
16:32you know top 12 at colonial last year after the renovation top five at the pga and when jt poston's
16:39hot he tends to do special things i think back to 2022 when he was second at the travelers the next
16:45week he wins the john deere that's kind of the way that jt poston rolls and that's the key right now is
16:51that he's rolling the rock he's actually improved his ball striking over the last year or two but he
16:54hasn't putted like the jt poston of usual poston the postman's about to deliver another guy eric cole
17:02a huge number here without scotty we are on a positional golf course with bermuda grass i know
17:07not on the greens but bring to grass everywhere else when you look at eric cole play wialeah or
17:12harvertown or valspar or sedgefield where they play the windham you know all of those courses that
17:18force you to like not use your driver a ton those are the places where he always finishes top 10 and
17:23he contends so i love cole he's been playing great as of late and i think this is a sneaky place where
17:29you know he could definitely come in second and if he knows that scotty's already had by five
17:33he probably won't feel the pressure of not having won before so those are my three outrights
17:37i've got uh i've got the cole man uh on the card this week as well keith so hopefully uh we can
17:44have ourselves a nice big hit uh coming out of the pga championship the placements for you
17:49all right top 10 i'm gonna go with harry hall and i hemmed and hawed over this i may even end up
17:54outriding him but a plus 600 for a top 10 um he was third year in 2023 which is significant because
18:00he tied with scotty scheffler he was great that year he had the 54 hole lead he's a good fit here
18:05and why because probably the biggest weakness like cole in his game is off the tee he's been very solid
18:11on approach lately he was nice at the pga his around the green acumen and his putting is very
18:16very good and he wears the hogan cap if that counts for anything give me a top 10 right top 20s
18:21aaron rye if you need the straight and narrow and you don't need a guy to put just you know with 20
18:26places aaron rye is your guy you think about him winning at windham it's a very good comp then
18:31the other one jj spawn if it's a ball strikers paradise jj spawn's gonna be there you think about
18:36some of his finishes this year certainly the second at players the guy keeps the ball in play
18:40he was third at yla which is another place for the sony open where you've got to just be positional
18:45and just go a to b all day long like playing chess and then we go into the top 40s henrik norlander
18:51he's a one trick pony i know he has one superpower it's approach but it's a very significant one here
18:56i feel like he can come in with the 40 places and the last one brian campbell the guy who won in
19:01mexico banged it off the bamboo in the playoff and beat the poltergeist right brian campbell's been
19:06playing really well he played good at augusta so he's been good on approach he's fourth in the
19:09field in approach and he's also been good at scoring it's a short golf course he might hit
19:14more drivers than anybody else but 40 places we can cash some money quickly the head-to-heads and
19:19give me one lady in mexico all right english over siwu uh harris english great history here great pga
19:26tournament spawn over thompson spawn for the ball striking thompson missed the cut at the pga the ladies
19:31are in mexico oh mexico carlota siganda third at liberty national and the last time they were
19:37there eight years ago she won the lorena ocea match play he's stewart read the line we'll see you next
