00:00I mean, you couldn't have really asked for more in this game.
00:03I mean, it looked like maybe this was going to be a laugher early on in this one
00:06and kind of go the chalky way.
00:07But Indiana not only rallies, but comes back to tie
00:10and then wins in overtime, getting an insane performance,
00:15certainly from a player they did not expect.
00:18I mean, this was a storybook script.
00:20And FanDuel is telling us the Pacers are now going to win this series.
00:24It's crazy how things shift like that.
00:26I think back to several years ago, now the NBA had that tagline of where amazing happens.
00:31And last night's game was amazing, to say the least,
00:33thinking about the fact that the Pacers actually did punch first.
00:36They had that hot start.
00:37The Knicks responded.
00:38Jalen Brunson was incredible.
00:39Got in the foul trouble, but still found a way to make his impact felt.
00:43Carl Anthony Towns made his impact felt.
00:45But this Pacers team, there is no quit in them.
00:47This is the third time we've seen them have a comeback, an improbable comeback.
00:51During these playoffs alone, Tyrese Halliburton is a guy that gives them the confidence.
00:55He doesn't care about what comes with making or missing the shot.
00:59He's made a lot more than he's missed.
01:01And that game, like you said, had everything.
01:03Aaron Neesmith comes and just shows exactly why he was a lottery pick five years ago as well.
01:07So everything you could ask for in a classic playoff game, that one had.
01:11Yeah, and I guess, you know, we'll look at the odds here in a second.
01:14But I guess if there is any solace in this is that there's no chance Neesmith has this game ever again.
01:20I mean, he's not going to go eight of nine from three-point range and do what he did right there, as you see.
01:24But then again, I mean, from a betting perspective, I'd be very wary on taking the Knicks, even laying, I guess I saw the odds are laying five and a half again in game two.
01:34And even if Neesmith doesn't score 30 and he has 21 and somebody else steps up, which has been the story of Indiana all season long.
01:41I mean, we were talking about this, Gilbert, before the series began.
01:46I just did not understand how Indiana was such a big underdog going into the series.
01:52I got to tell you, now I don't understand why they're such a big favorite.
01:55It seems like these are just swinging like crazy.
01:58Yeah, and there's two modes of thinking about it, right?
02:00There's one way of saying, hey, how do the Knicks bounce back from losing in such a devastating way?
02:04That's demoralizing.
02:06You thought you had the game in the bag.
02:07And a lot of times that can impact your momentum for the remainder of the series.
02:11On the flip side, you can tell yourself, well, look, that's just one game.
02:14It's the first team to four wins.
02:15So if you still have confidence in what the Knicks showed outside of that last two minutes of regulation and overtime, then maybe you side with them and get some value in doing that.
02:23But if you're of the belief that momentum is as real as it could be, and the Pacers just have established that momentum and now have home court before the series goes back to Indianapolis, there's going to be a lot going on there this weekend, then I understand why they swung to become a favorite.
02:36But at the end of the day, it is just one game.
