00:00Hello there, welcome to your Thursday morning weather update from the Met Office.
00:04It's cloudy for some today, fresher for most and most places will see some brighter weather coming through.
00:10This cold front though dragging in cooler air, one or two fleeting showers towards the eastern side.
00:15Friday is fine with some sunshine before all change.
00:19Yes, we'll see some development going on across the Atlantic, bringing with it outbreaks of rain,
00:24stronger winds, some showers from time to time associated with some areas of low pressure.
00:30So high pressure slowly drifts away.
00:32Now through this morning, more clouds across the Midlands, northwest England, east Wales, down towards the southeast.
00:38And here the odd spot of two of rain can't be ruled out.
00:41The clouds will break across Northern Ireland through the middle part of the morning.
00:44Fine weather across much of Scotland, northern England, as well as the west country, southwest Wales.
00:49One or two fleeting showers towards the east.
00:51That's where we'll see the lowest temperatures feeling fresh here.
00:54Values coming in around 12 to 14, 15 Celsius.
00:5716 further west, 19 across south Wales, 21 towards the southwest of England.
01:04Now that cloud across more southern areas will continue to break through the evening and overnight.
01:10Elsewhere it's clear skies and a bit of a chilly one yet again.
01:14The breeze will continue to influence the eastern side of Scotland as well as England.
01:18A small chance of a shower here and a cool start to the day come Friday morning.
01:24Friday will be fine though.
01:26Lots of sunshine around, a little bit of cloud bubbling up, particularly towards the south, as more cloud thickens across Northern Ireland later.
01:33Temperatures on the up again, 17 to 21 degrees Celsius.
01:36But that rain you saw just on the last map moving across the country into Saturday morning.
01:41In its wake, we'll see some showery bursts, a stronger wind from time to time.
01:46So some drier interludes.
01:47It's not a washout, but the rain will return towards more western areas later.
01:51And temperatures arriving around 17 to 21 degrees Celsius.
