00:00Bristol Rovers new head coach Daryl Clark has said that his affinity with the supporters is what encouraged him to return to the club following his previous spell in charge of the gas, with the aim of getting the club back into League One following their allegation.
00:13The affinity I've had with the club, with the supporters in the past, and when the phone call came and it was the right time to talk, it was an opportunity that I couldn't wait to get cracking again.
00:26It's a different club, the one I left, the resources, certainly the training facilities are fantastic, certainly a top-end League One.
00:36We didn't have that last time and so that was a massive pull and I know the owners are trying to do the right thing to get the stadium up to a lot better standard to make sure that we're in a better place.
00:46So for me, it's a club that has got the ambition to kick on and unfortunately for us, it's back in League Two, but that's all by the by, shall we say now. It's a fresh start for everyone.
01:00I'm here to win. The sentiment doesn't come into it for me. Yes, I've got a fantastic rapport with the fans and that's hopefully going to help us get some results, but for me, I'm here to win.
01:11And Bristol City head coach Liam Manning has said that his players deserve immense credit for getting the Robins into the Championship playoffs for the first time in over a decade. Liam Manning was certainly full of pride for what they had achieved.
01:25I think I've said it in every single interview, couldn't be more proud. I think in terms of what they've had to go through this season, the challenges they've faced, the battle they've faced to turn people's opinions and prove people wrong, surprise a few people.
01:40It takes real resilience, togetherness and courage to do that and you saw it last night. I think it's one of those last night, you go into the game now and it's a real uphill challenge.
01:48The bit that you want to make sure is that, you know, you go down fighting, you leave everything out there and the lads certainly did that.
01:54I think, you know, if we'd lost Serena last night and had 20% possession, no shots and, you know, Sheffield United have had 80% and 28 shots and you've been battered, I think it's a different feeling.
02:03I think, you know, the fact that we went out there and, you know, created some really good opportunities in the first 20, 25 minutes, you know, we kept running, kept competing, kept, you know, trying to play our way.
02:11I think, you know, the lads, you know, deservedly so come out in credit.
02:14Did you know what you might do?
