00:00Nigeria Authority, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA operatives have arrested a United Kingdom, UK two times ex-convict, Campbell Kaysra Kofi Yohannes Slipher who has served two separate jail terms for robbery and drug trafficking in the British prisons with a very large quantities of illicit drugs he allegedly shipped from Thailand through Doha with Qatar Airways at the Matala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos State.
00:27Also, the NDLEA operatives intercepted and arrested an Iran-bound hijab-dressed woman, Ihensekian Miracle Obahi with quantities of cocaine hidden in her private part while trying to board Qatar Airline to Iran through Port Harcourt International Airport in Rivers State.
00:45NDLEA in a news release four night ago, stated that the hijab-dressed woman was arrested based on intelligence reports.
00:52NDLEA in the news release also intercepted fuel tanker, three vehicles filled with three, 047 kilogram skunk in Niger, and 775 litres of codeine in Kano.
01:06Details as reported, presented below, desperate attempt by a woman, Ihensekian Miracle Obahi who disguised with hijab to export large consignments of cocaine concealed in her private part, stomach and false bottom of her handbag to Iran has been thwarted by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
01:33Obahi who was dressed in hijab to beat security checks was intercepted at the departure hall of the Port Harcourt Airport on Sunday 3 May 2025 while trying to board a Qatar Airline flight to Iran via Doha following credible intelligence.
01:49During her search, she was found to have inserted three wraps of cocaine in her private part, and two large parcels hidden in false compartments of her handbag while she swallowed 67 pellets of the Class A drug.
02:03As a result, she was placed under excretion observation and after four excretions that lasted days, she expelled the 67 wraps of the substance in her stomach.
02:14She claimed she was to swallow 70 pellets of cocaine but after ingesting 67 pieces she could no longer swallow the remaining three and decided to insert them into her private part.
02:25The total weight of the three consignments hidden in different parts of her body comes to 2.523 kilograms.
02:33In like manner, NDLEA operatives at the Matala Mohamed International Airport, MMIA, Akeja Lagos on Friday 9 May intercepted a 22-year-old British national,
02:45Campbell Kaysera Kofi Yohannes Slipher coming from Thailand through Doha on Qatar Airways flight with two suitcases loaded with 35 parcels of loud, a strong strain of cannabis weighing 37.60 kilograms.
03:01Campbell who claimed he had twice been convicted in the UK for drug trafficking and robbery, said he was recruited in London to travel to Thailand to pick the illicit consignment and bring the same to Nigeria.
03:12In Niger State, NDLEA offices acting on intelligence on Wednesday 7 May intercepted a fuel truck marked ABJ693ZU and three other vehicles loaded with 246 bags of skunk,
03:29a strain of cannabis with a combined weight of 3.047 kilograms along Sileja Kaduna Road.
03:35Four suspects arrested with the exhibits include Christopher Onyema, 47, Benedict Etina Ruba Young, 54, Chukwudi Ujue Jerry, 30, and Mohamed Abdullahi Dhanasabe.
03:50Apart from the fuel truck, three other vehicles recovered from the suspects include

04:09At Oyaramu Koko in Ijura area of Lagos, two suspects, Ez Chekuba Manual and Ike Samuel Chinaram were on Thursday 8 May arrested by NDLEA operatives
04:21with a total of 109,914 pills of tramadol, swinil and nitrozepam seized from them, while 52.5 kg skunk was recovered from two suspects,

05:00In Bauchi State, NDLEA offices on patrol along Bauchi Gombe Road on Tuesday 6 May intercepted a Toyota Tundra Jeep marked RBC 111DW conveying 526 blocks of skunk weighing 505 kg with two suspects,
05:20Isaac Onogar, 37, and Ike Chakupita, 44, arrested.
05:26A total of 31 kegs containing 775 liters of codeine syrup were recovered from two suspects,
05:34Hafizu Isahuman, 34, and Ishmael Shehu, 48, when NDLEA operatives raided their hideout at Rijiazaki area of Kano on Saturday 10 May,
05:46while 1.1 kg of loud consignment concealed in pillow coming from Thailand was on Tuesday 6 May intercepted by NDLEA offices at a courier company in Lagos.
