00:14These new teaching items directly respond to the President's call to reduce class sizes and lighten the workload of our educators on the ground.
00:21It is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2025.
00:26The DepEd adds the hiring is also expected to address the need for, quote,
00:30educators with appropriate specializations, particularly in kindergarten, elementary, and subject-specific areas in junior and senior high school.
00:38The Philippines is short of nearly 90,000 teachers.
