00:03Gulliver's Travels
00:06Once upon a time, there lived a doctor named Gulliver.
00:11There came a time when there was no work to be found in the city.
00:16So Gulliver found a job on a ship.
00:19This way, his new life had begun on shore.
00:23The first few days, it went pretty good.
00:26He was getting used to his new life on the ship.
00:28But one day, a very strong thunderstruck.
00:33After struggling in the huge waves for some hours,
00:36in the end, the ship tipped over.
00:41Gulliver and a few of the crew
00:43managed to get some rowing boats on the boat before it sank.
00:47Short while after their ship sank,
00:50it disappeared.
00:52They couldn't stay on this rowing boat for too long
00:58and soon after, a strong wave hit them
01:01and this boat, like the ship, also tipped over.
01:04They scattered all over the place.
01:06For hours, Gulliver struggled to stay above the water.
01:09He was trying to stay alive.
01:11In the end, the current helped him manage to hit a shore.
01:20He was very tired now.
01:26He had no idea as to where he was.
01:29Besides, he was in no state to think.
01:33He fainted right there on the shore.
01:35When he woke up,
01:42he noticed he had been tied up from head to toe.
01:45Surrounding him,
01:47he saw little, tiny people as small as his palm.
01:51With amazement, Gulliver was staring at these little people.
01:55And with the same reaction,
01:57the little people were staring at him.
01:59Right at that moment,
02:02Gulliver felt a tingle all over his body.
02:05When he put his head up to see what it could be,
02:07he noticed his whole body covered in tiny arrows.
02:11The very frightened little people were throwing arrows at him.
02:19Please stop, don't.
02:21I won't hurt you, don't worry.
02:23For a few days,
02:24they kept him there with his hands and feet tied up.
02:27They gave him food and water.
02:32After some days had passed,
02:35they tied him on a car
02:36that was pulled by hundreds of tiny little horses,
02:39taking him to their hometown.
02:42This little town was called Lilliput.
02:51They saved the largest building in the town for him.
02:54But even so,
02:56to get inside the house,
02:58he had to crawl.
03:02Seeing that Gulliver meant no harm to them,
03:05they decided to introduce him to their king.
03:11Gulliver approached Lilliput's king.
03:14The king allowed him to stay.
03:17But in order to stay,
03:19he told him that he must work
03:22and help around the city
03:25as much as he could.
03:31Gulliver signed a piece of paper
03:33that stated the do's and don'ts.
03:36For example,
03:38if he wanted to pick someone up with his hands,
03:40he needed to have permission.
03:43Under these circumstances,
03:45Gulliver began living in Lilliput.
03:48He was helping with the renovations of the buildings
03:51and carrying water to the locals.
03:55After some days had gone by,
03:58he found out a big problem amongst the little people.
04:01The neighbouring country's army
04:04wanted to occupy Lilliput.
04:06In order to do so,
04:08they were getting ready for war.
04:11Gulliver went over to the king
04:12and proposed to help.
04:17If you like,
04:18I can help you out, your highness.
04:20The king was happy.
04:23He first thanked him,
04:24then accepted his offer.
04:26At that time,
04:29the neighbouring country's ships
04:30had finished their preparations.
04:33They were waiting for their order to proceed.
04:37This news got all the town worried.
04:40On the other hand,
04:41for Gulliver,
04:42it was too easy.
04:44He asked everyone to find
04:46as much wire as they could
04:48and bring it to him.
04:50Gulliver joined all the wire
04:53they bring to him
04:54and made a very long and strong
04:56piece of string.
04:58When it was midnight,
05:00he got the long string of wire
05:02and crossed to the other side of shore.
05:05Without being seen to the enemy,
05:07he managed to get to the port
05:08on the other side.
05:10He tied all the ships to one another
05:13and with the very few soldiers
05:15that were inside,
05:16he pulled them to Lilliput's shore.
05:18The people waiting for him
05:22at the port
05:23were super happy.
05:25They had imprisoned
05:27the enemy's soldiers.
05:30They now had no reason
05:32to be scared of the enemy.
05:35The king thanked Gulliver
05:36and rewarded him.
05:39Gulliver was very happy
05:40he had gained the king's trust.
05:43A while later,
05:46there was a fire in the castle.
05:49The moment he heard about the fire,
05:51Gulliver took one of the ships
05:52in the harbour,
05:53filled it with water
05:54and poured it on the castle,
05:57putting off the fire immediately.
06:00Gulliver and the king
06:01were getting along very well.
06:03Before making a decision,
06:05the king was always asking Gulliver first.
06:08Of course,
06:09this started to get in the way
06:10of the other advisors to the king.
06:12They were envious of Gulliver.
06:16Your highness,
06:17we hear rumours.
06:18Gulliver is planning to get stronger
06:20and take your position
06:21as the king of Lilliput.
06:24Really?
06:25Yes, my king.
06:26We all know how strong he is.
06:29We can't defend ourselves
06:30if he attacks us.
06:33We can't live in fear like this.
06:36Public is also on its toes.
06:38The king was well affected
06:40by his advisors
06:41and he decided
06:42to punish Gulliver.
06:45Considering the good
06:46he's done before,
06:47I won't give him
06:48the death penalty.
06:50His eyes will be blinded,
06:51he will be forbidden
06:52to go into town
06:53and his food will be limited.
06:56When he heard
06:57about the king's decision,
06:59one of the workers
07:00in the castle
07:00who loved Gulliver
07:02ran right next to Gulliver
07:03to tell him all about it.
07:05I can talk to the king
07:09and change his mind.
07:10But the decision was made
07:12and the king had no intentions
07:14to change his mind.
07:17Gulliver finally understood
07:19that his only option
07:21was to leave.
07:23At night,
07:24taking the enemy ships
07:25in the harbour with him,
07:27he began to move
07:28towards the island across.
07:30He walked and swam
07:32and finally came
07:33to the island
07:34of what people
07:35called
07:36the enemy.
07:39When Gulliver
07:41returned their ships,
07:42they understood
07:43that he didn't have
07:44bad intentions.
07:46With the guide
07:47next to him,
07:49they sent Gulliver
07:49to meet with the king.
07:51The king properly
07:53welcomed Gulliver
07:54and Gulliver
07:55told him
07:56all that had happened.
07:58The king told him
07:59that he could stay
08:00as long as he wanted.
08:02Gulliver was really surprised
08:04of this kind gesture
08:05after he stole their ships
08:08because he hadn't seen
08:10this kind of behaviour
08:11in Lilliput.
08:14Gulliver was staying out
08:16at night
08:16since there was no house
08:18big enough for him.
08:21People of Lilliput
08:22think this kingdom
08:22is the enemy
08:23but actually
08:24they are all good people.
08:26One day
08:27when he was walking about
08:28he found a rowing boat.
08:31This was clearly
08:32the boat
08:32that they were on
08:33after his ship
08:34had sunk.
08:36Apparently our boat
08:37hit the shore
08:38on this island.
08:39He immediately
08:40went to the king.
08:42The king gave him
08:44all the men
08:45he needed.
08:47They all began
08:48to repair the boat.
08:51In a few days
08:52the boat
08:53was ready
08:54for shore.
08:57Gulliver was
08:57very happy
08:58because he could
09:00leave the kingdom
09:01of the little people
09:02and go home.
09:05He thanked the king
09:06and his people
09:08who welcomed him.
09:09but a tough journey
09:14was waiting for him
09:15on this small boat
09:17in the big ocean.
09:20Even the small storm
09:22will sink my boat.
09:25After a couple of days
09:27on the ocean
09:28he came across a ship.
09:31He began yelling
09:32yelling for help.
09:35Hey!
09:36Here!
09:38Help me!
09:40Finally
09:41they heard him.
09:48They came next
09:50to the rowing boat
09:51and took Gulliver
09:52on their ship.
09:53And so
10:00Gulliver was safe.
10:03He was anxious
10:04to tell about
10:05all that had happened.
10:07The little people
10:09the kingdom
10:10of Lilliput
10:11and the kings
10:13of the two kingdoms.
10:15He wondered
10:16who would believe him
10:18about all that had happened.
10:19Gulliver felt
10:21very happy
10:22that he was going
10:23to go home
10:24to see his family.
10:27But he also felt
10:28there were many more
10:30adventures waiting for him
10:31out there
10:33in the big ocean.
