00:00Congress Chief Malikarjun Karge has questioned Operation Sindhu, calling it a small-scale war.
00:07Karge has essentially referred to Operation Sindhu as Chhutput War,
00:12and again has raised a question that he has raised previously,
00:16where he said that the Prime Minister cancelled Kashmir's trip.
00:20He was supposed to go there before the Pelgam attack,
00:23but he cancelled it after Intel suggested that there was some sort of security breach.
00:27So why didn't the Prime Minister protect tourists as well?
00:30So this is something that the Congress Chief had raised earlier too.
00:34Again, Malikarjun Karge saying the Prime Minister had cancelled his visit to Kashmir just days before the Pelgam attack.
00:57So he said that the Prime Minister has said that the Prime Minister will continue to come to Pakistan,
01:09and Kashmir will continue to come to the government.
01:13But therefore, if you do not cancel yourself, you will not cancel your health.
01:20This is the case of you,
01:23as you die via Kashmir PHOTKANTH,
01:26program 1 cancel yourself.
01:29You do not say this tourist as police,
01:34that you will not say that,
01:36you will not say this,
01:38and that you will not say that,
01:40you will not say that.

02:18So, that's Malikarjung Kargay there speaking in Karnataka,
02:29questioning the government over the response post the Pedalgam attack.
02:32Nagarjun Dwarkanath is joining us live with more details on this.
02:36Nagarjun, you've got essentially the Congress Chief there questioning,
02:40mocking Operation Sindhu, referring to it as, you know,
02:44a chudput action or a chudput war.
02:45While to quote him verbatim, he said what has happened in the last few days,
02:50the chudput action or the war that has happened in India
02:53and Pakistan takes the help of China is what the continuation of the statement is.
02:57But nevertheless, he called Operation Sindhu as chudput war
03:01and also questioned the Prime Minister that he had intelligence information
03:04about attacks being happening in Kashmir and hence he cancelled his schedule to Kashmir on May 17th.
03:10But if this, sorry, April 17th, if this information was given to the tourists,
03:16he says that 26 lives would have been saved as well.
03:18Why is Modi being treated specially then compared to the tourists?
03:22And intelligence had given to the Prime Minister certain information about attacks in Kashmir
03:27and hence the Prime Minister cancelled the scheduled event in Kashmir in the last moment.
03:31And later he said that whatever has happened recently is just a chudput war
03:36and this was happening in Hospit while the Congress government in Karnataka
03:40was celebrating his two-year anniversary, inviting Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on stage.
03:44Okay, so you've got another attack coming in from Congress Chief Malikarjun Kharge
03:49and as Nagarjun also gave you those details,
03:51he's also made a mention of the Prime Minister's trip to Kashmir
03:55just before the Pelgam attack, which was also cancelled.
03:58Now Malikarjun Kharge has questioned and claimed that it was cancelled due to security reasons
04:03and yet the government did nothing to protect these tourists.
04:06This is something that the Congress Chief has said before Nagarjun
04:08after which the BJP also demanded evidence, proof from the Congress.
04:13They of course didn't respond to that but clearly Kharge right now
04:16sticking to his gun so on that attack.
04:18Nagarjun, just stay with me.
04:19Nalinkoli of the BJP is joining us on this broadcast.
04:23Mr. Nalinkoli, your response to Malikarjun Kharge,
04:25he's referred to Operation Sindur,
04:27effectively saying that what's happened in the last few days
04:29was a chudput small-scale war,
04:32or a chudput response?
04:36Coming from the National President of the Congress Party
04:40to consider Operation Sindur to be a chudput war
04:44is very inappropriate.
04:49In effect, it also shows that the Congress Party
04:52in its desperation to score political points
04:55where none are required is willing to cross every limit
04:59in undermining the effort of our armed forces,
05:04undermining the damage that the Pakistani terror network
05:09and also military establishment has had to undertake
05:14in wake of India's very, very determined response
05:17and undermines the general fight against terror
05:24and against Pakistan in terms of promoting terror.
05:29So, when he speaks to Malikarjun Kharge,
05:34a very senior and seasoned political person,
05:37he's sending a message
05:38that India does not, in a sense,
05:42recognize the effort of its armed forces.
05:45It does not acknowledge
05:47the damage to the Pakistan-based terror organizations
05:51and also the military establishment
05:52that has been hurt
05:53by the missiles that were from this side of the border.
05:58It does not acknowledge
06:00how the Indian defense system
06:03did not allow Pakistani missiles, drones
06:06to penetrate into India in large numbers.
06:11It undermines everything.
06:13And the Congress Party has much to answer
06:16to the people of India
06:17if they believe that this is a national issue.
06:21Mr. Nalankoli, I'd also like your response
06:23to another aspect of what Mr. Kharge said.
06:25He said this before, of course.
06:26But the Congress Chief is essentially indicating here
06:29that Prime Minister Modi
06:30had cancelled his trip to Kashmir,
06:32which was scheduled to happen
06:33just days before the Pahalkam terror attack
06:35because the government had intel
06:37of some sort of security threat.
06:39And so he's questioned
06:40why the government didn't protect these tourists.
06:42What's the BJP's response to that, sir?
06:45First of all, as far as I'm aware,
06:46Mr. Manikarjun Kharge
06:48is not exactly handling
06:49the travel programming
06:50of the Honourable Prime Minister of India.
06:53And at least, not to my knowledge,
06:55anyone in the Congress Party is.
06:57What is the basis of this statement?
06:59Is it just another manufactured statement?
07:02Just to create an angularity
07:04and manage to sort of create
07:06a media debate
07:08around something that has no basis?
07:11Look at what they did
07:11with Pegasus, Pegasus, Pegasus.
07:14Finally, the Supreme Court said,
07:16give your phones.
07:16No, no, no, we won't give our phones.
07:19Look at what they said
07:20on Rafale, Rafale, Rafale.
07:22Rafales were used
07:23in this operation also.
07:26And finally,
07:27the Supreme Court rejected all of it
07:28after the Supreme Court
07:29studied everything.
07:31So the Congress Party
07:31seems to have developed
07:33a whole norm.
07:35They have always done that
07:36with elections.
07:37The EVMs are all rigged.
07:39But when they win elections,
07:40the EVMs are very good.
07:42Electronic voting machines.
07:43So the Congress Party
07:44seems to have become
07:46a rather regular,
07:48habitual,
07:49political plan
07:51that they seem to follow
07:52is somehow raise
07:53a narrative.
07:55It doesn't matter
07:56whether the narrative
07:56is false or true.
07:58Then ask on this
07:59narrative which has no basis.
08:01The government should answer.
08:04And then,
08:04because the government
08:05has better things to do
08:06than waste time
08:07in giving responses
08:08to a manufactured narrative
08:10without any basis,
08:12then they say
08:12because you are not
08:13answering back
08:13so you have something
08:14to hide.
08:15So this seems to be
08:16the pattern
08:17of the Congress
08:18media thinking.
08:19Now how far
08:20would one consider
08:21this to be
08:21a mature thinking
08:22coming from
08:23what they say
08:24the 125-year-old party?
08:27Well, that is really
08:27for people to reflect.
08:29All right.
08:30Mr. Nalankoli,
08:30thank you very much
08:31for joining us here
08:32on India Today.
08:33Sir Nalankoli
08:33of the BJP
08:34responding to the charges
08:36being leveled right now
08:37by Malikar Junkargi
08:38but I want to play out
08:39once again for you
08:39exactly what the
08:41Congress Chief said.
08:41happened to the
