00:00Did you know that you were, like, on set, part of such a groundbreaking, trend-setting film?

00:09The short answer is no.

00:12But, you know, I did feel like, I mean, no.

00:18While we were doing it, no.

00:19When I first saw it, there was a test screening that Alicia, Paul, Justin, Donald, and I went to, and we sat in the back row.

00:31And it was the first time, I think, for all of us, that we had seen the full film, certainly with an audience.

00:38And I was stunned.

00:41I just went, oh, this movie is going to be huge.

00:47Yeah.

00:48It's so cool.

00:49I have to ask you, then, what was it like being on set with your co-stars?

00:54I know you said that you didn't, like, you didn't know at the time what it was going to be like.

00:58But, like, looking back, how was that time?

01:01What was it like?

01:02How was the energy?

01:03You know, it's funny.

01:05Alicia and I just spoke about this recently, which we had never done.

01:09She was like, it was really stressful.

01:11And I said, yeah, yeah, ditto.

01:14Like, it was very stressful.

01:15And certainly more so for her, or in different ways.

01:21I remember reading James Baldwin in my trailer, like, that's what I was doing.

01:27And then being worried, like, am I too fat?

01:30Am I going to lose?

01:30Like, just, you know, all of that crazy stuff.

01:34Like, I, it was, it was, it was tough.

01:38But at the same time, it was super fun.

01:41So, you know, it's like, it's complicated.

01:44Everybody always wants to hear it was, like, perfect and fun and great.

01:48And it was great.

01:50But it was also challenging, for sure.

01:53I think people sometimes just see the finished product of things, and they have no idea.

01:59And I love that we're having this conversation, because it's kind of like even social media and kids.

02:04Yeah.

02:04I know my kids look to influencers so much.

02:07And I think all of us are kind of content creators in some kind of way or another.

02:11And a lot of times, families don't know, kids don't know.

02:13It takes so much to even just create what they're seeing happening.

02:19So, it sounds like there's some parallels there.

02:22It's really true.

02:23It's very true.
