Drake's label says there's a giant hole in the lawsuit he's filed over Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" ... and they're basically saying Drizzy should've paid closer attention to the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

00:25only filed because he's bitter about losing a rap battle and it's evident because he's trying to

00:32call out the fact that kendrick lamar performed the song in the super bowl halftime show and that's

00:39the whole defamation part of this is that drake is upset about the line certified pedophile he added

00:44that didn't he the the super bowl he added that to the lawsuit after drake after kendrick's performance

00:50drake added it to the lawsuit and now umg is saying come on this is ridiculous because

00:56just watch the performance he didn't say those words he didn't say certified pedophile so the crowd did

01:03well the crowd certainly um filled in the blanks right um particularly when it got to that the part

01:11that everybody sings a minor yeah and then it went on there but he didn't even that wasn't censored he

01:24just did not say the words yes as time goes on like the argument that this lawsuit was a crusade for

01:30artists and you know artist rights you know it just continues to wear thin you know like it does look

01:37like that he's still bitter over the rat beef that you know people were it's been a year so there's a

01:43lot of deep dives a lot of re-thinks a lot of re-imagining but trent the deep dives are important

01:48here because what the label is saying is drake is a hypocrite because he himself he himself said things

01:54that uh right and they said look you know drake has in the past made a big point about rap artists

02:00artists in general should not be held um you know to their lyrics like they're factual he said

02:06they're metaphorical this is hyperbole it's what we do that's a great point because if family matters

02:11would have blew up you know i don't even know if this lawsuit gets filed you know they might still

02:15be going at it you know that's drake's this song family matters academics thinks it's the best song

02:20of the beef but not like us and euphoria got the most attention right so uh that's why they're saying

02:26just throw this thing out judge this is just a bitter artist i i don't see how the judge doesn't

02:42but in regards to kendrick lamar not saying the word pedophile during the lawsuit uh he he baited

02:52it's almost like kendrick lamar got coached by a lawyer like listen you're going to be performing at

02:55the superbowl drake might be taking legal action so it's very critical that you do not say the word

03:05for kendrick lamar to get away with implying it without saying it and i can't deny the fact that

03:10the label benefits tremendously from drake's public opinion going down uh from losing this rat beef so

03:16in negotiations it might have actually benefited uh the label and say hey we don't want to give you

03:19500 billion for your next deal we want to give you 100 because look at your reputation now and the

03:24label benefits from that and you just can't deny that by the way your place is really great it's really

03:29architecturally interesting i got a problem with a washer dryer but but aside aside from that aside

03:36from you know the crazy thing is it's actually my birthday today so if you wanted to give me a new

03:40washer and dryer i'd be like sorry we're out of time
