00:00Ryan Pepeo has Houston and Frambois Valdez, and he has Toronto and Chris Bassett.
00:05I mean, that's a tough, tough task.
00:07For me, I'd be off of this, but Joe, I want to hear from you.
00:11I think if I need some help this week, I'm willing to roll the dice.
00:15Pepeo in his last couple starts has been really solid,
00:18and I know it's been a little up and down for him this year,
00:21but if you look at the last five starts for Pepeo,
00:23he's got 318 ERA, 21 strikeouts, eight walks.
00:27He is right of the ship after some weird outings earlier in the year,
00:32and going into the season, I always pay attention to a couple people when they break down pitchers.
00:36Eno Saris is one of them, and one of Eno's favorite guys going into this year was Ryan Pepeo.
00:41So, of course, I drafted him everywhere because he made a lot of good reasoning
00:44behind why he was so in on Pepeo, and I think even though you didn't see it right away,
00:48you're starting to see it now, and I think there were two camps.
00:51It was the Boz camp and the Pepeo camp, and I was in the Pepeo camp,
00:53and the Boz camp right now is really frustrated,
00:56and Pepeo seems like he is making some strides.
00:59Now, don't be shocked if you don't see Ian Seymour coming up soon, too.
01:02He's leading the AAA in strikeouts right now.
01:05He has been red hot. He's been so good,
01:07so maybe you get to see him at some point here for the Rays,
01:10but in the meantime, I would take a shot here,
01:13and the reason is that Houston lineup is weak right now.
01:16Noah Alvarez. Altuve's not very good.
01:19Christian Walker continues to Christian Walker himself.
01:22I don't know what's going on there.
01:23He started to show some signs of life, and then he kind of took a nosedive again,
01:27so this lineup is just not as formidable as it usually is,
01:29so I think that's why I'm willing to kind of go against the grain here
01:33with Pepeo for two starts.
01:34All right.
