After sustaining a right ankle sprain near the end of the UAAP Season 87 men's volleyball elimination round, NU Bulldogs spiker Buds Buddin went on an arduous rehab process to get back.
He underwent multiple therapy sessions in a day just so he could immediately rejoin the Bulldogs' five-peat bid.
The work paid off for Buddin whose team just completed its five-peat aspirations after turning back the FEU Tamaraws in the deciding Game Three of the Finals at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, May 17.
In the clincher, Buddin tallied an all-around game of nine points, 14 excellent digs, and 19 receptions as NU swept FEU, 25-16, 28-26, 25-23, for the championship before a UAAP men's volleyball record crowd of 14,517 fans.
