00:00Now, Shane, I don't know what to say about Tom Cruise's hair,

00:03but it seems that he can still command the crowd

00:06and essentially the box office.

00:08Well, I was listening to a podcast and they were talking about

00:11how there's no real A-list movie stars anymore,

00:14and I think we'll all agree that Tom Cruise is one of the few left

00:17that are still around.

00:18So I think it's good that he showed up to Cannes again

00:22because the last time he was at it was, I think, Top Gun Maverick,

00:26and that didn't do too badly at the box office, I believe.

00:28And it was 30 years before that that he showed.

00:31So it does show that Cannes can still attract these huge names.

00:35But I would say that his new movie is out.

00:39It's rumoured to be the last of the eight Mission Impossibles,

00:43but I think it's also rumoured that he'll keep going

00:45because this is a huge cash cow that he's got going on.

00:49But the last movie didn't really perform as well as expected,

00:53but the new one has got 86% on the Rotten Tomato list,

00:58which is pretty good from a critic's point of view.

01:01So the expectation is that this will hopefully go to the billion-dollar level,

01:04which none of the other Mission Impossibles have managed to achieve.
