00:00Jalgam train accident occurred on a fateful day in 2025.
00:05Pushpak Express was traveling from Lucknow to Mumbai.
00:09Let's follow the 3D animation of the Pushpak Express train to understand why people were
00:14jumping out of it. A few days ago, at around 6 pm, the Pushpak Express was passing through Jalgam.
00:21Due to a problem with the hot axle or brake binding, the train wheels started to spark
00:26and emit smoke. Some passengers and a T-vendor in the next coach noticed the smoke,
00:32and the T-vendor spread a rumor that there was a fire in the next car.
00:36This rumor caused panic among the passengers. In an attempt to save themselves,
00:40the first step people took was to pull the emergency chain, which stopped the train a little ahead on
00:45a bridge. There was a track on the other side, and people started jumping off on both sides of the train.
00:52Unfortunately, more than 14 people who were trying to escape were killed when they came
00:59into the path of the Karnataka Express, which was approaching on the other track from the opposite
01:04side. The fact is that because the Pushpak Express stopped unexpectedly, the local pilot followed
01:11protocols and turned on the flasher light to warn any approaching trains. However, despite the flasher
01:17light, the Karnataka Express could not stop in time to avoid the accident, partly due to a steep turn
01:23and a slight delay in the appearance of the flasher light. In conclusion, the Jalgaon train accident was
01:30a tragic event resulting in 13 deaths and 15 injuries. It highlights the importance of safety protocols
01:37and emergency preparedness in the rail industry.
