00:00Sometimes, without any warning, your nose can suddenly start gushing blood.
00:05This happens when the tiny blood vessels lining your nostrils rupture.
00:09These vessels are extremely delicate and can easily break, especially when the air is dry.
00:17And while sticking random objects into your nose might seem like a quick fix,
00:22it's actually not the right way to stop the bleeding.
00:26Instead, gently pinch your nostrils together and lean slightly forward.
00:31Hold that position until the bleeding stops.
00:34Simple, safe and way more effective.
