‘Miss London Ltd.’ is a 1943 British black-and-white musical comedy directed by Val Guest in his directorial debut. The film stars Arthur Askey and Evelyn Dall and follows Arthur Boden, who runs an escort agency inherited from his mother. His new American partner, Terry Arden, arrives to claim her half of the business, bringing fresh energy and changes. As they search for new escort ladies, they encounter Gail Martin, a railway clerk with a talent for singing. The film features musical numbers, comedic routines, and self-parodying sequences, including Askey impersonating himself and spoofs of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
