00:18They need it with another arm late in the game in the bullpen?

00:22And you also need it, I think, in the form of at least one of these guys

00:26in the minor leagues, one way or the other.

00:28And this leads us to, well, how do you do that?

00:31Do you make a huge trade?

00:35Like, if you're going to get Anthony up here, the logical thing,

00:39which I wouldn't be averse to, is to say, we're selling high on Raffaella.

00:43We're going to trade him for, let's say, the aforementioned bullpen arm.

00:47That's fine.

00:47Probably not going to happen.

00:49But the other avenue is the first base thing.

00:52Okay, we can get into Devers, that's fine.

00:54But the more realistic thing here is to take a guy in Christian Campbell,

01:00who is right now statistically one of the worst second basemen in the game,

01:04start putting a first baseman glove on him, see how that works,

01:08put Marcelo Meyer at second base, and there you go.

01:12I mean, this isn't like an extreme, oh, my goodness,

01:15I can't believe we're doing this.

01:17But there's a lot of sense to just trying it out.

01:21And, like, even just put a first base glove on him once in a while.

01:26That's all I'm asking.

01:27Or somebody else.

01:29Like I said to you guys before, first base camp.

01:31I was listening to Cora talk to the afternoon guys when they were asking

01:34him about first base.

01:35Ted specifically asked him about first base several times.

01:37Well, yeah, but over under four and a half times.

01:40He asked him a lot of times, but it's a pressing issue,

01:41so I don't blame him for it.

01:42But, like, the amount of times Cora responded with Romy Gonzalez,

01:46I was like, well, that ain't it.

01:48But I think they're always coming back.

01:49I'm like, I don't care.

01:50I mean, I think that falls under, you know, it is what it is,

01:53and he's going to have to say what he has to say, right?

01:55Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:56But when we come back from this off day,

01:59I do not understand why you wouldn't just say, okay, you know,

02:03we have to – here's a first baseman glove.

02:06And I'm going to focus on Campbell.

02:14But I do think that we've reached the point with Campbell

02:16where you say, yeah, he's a little rough around the edges at second base.
