00:34So here's an updated look at your AccuWeather exclusive storm zone for the severe weather risk on Friday.
00:39Here's the bullseye I have highlighted for you for the highest risk of potential severe weather.
00:43This is going to be included for areas of Kentucky, Illinois, and also southern parts of Indiana.
00:49So this is overall the zone we're going to be watching.
00:52But as we zoom out to show you the entire footprint of the severe weather threat on Friday,
00:57this is going to extend from Dallas, Texas, all the way to Washington, D.C.
01:01So this is going to be a very expansive risk area here for severe weather as we head throughout Friday afternoon and Friday evening.
01:08Any storms that form in this highlighted region will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, flooding rainfall.
01:14There's going to be a lot of lightning with this as well, so heads up for that.
01:16And yes, there's going to be an elevated tornado threat associated with this as well.
01:20Some of these areas are going to see the highest potential of severe weather we have seen so far this season.
01:24So yes, now is definitely the best time to download that free app.
01:28But overall here as we head throughout the next couple of days, tomorrow, cloudy skies, a couple isolated showers heading into early Friday morning.
01:34We will start the day off with some flooding possible between Cincinnati and Lexington.
01:38But as we head into the late afternoon hours, morning to afternoon, we'll start to see some showers and thunderstorms developing across parts of Oklahoma and Arkansas.
01:46The severe weather threat really ramps up as we head into Friday afternoon between parts of Missouri and parts of Arkansas.
01:52These are going to be the thunderstorms that eventually develop into the severe weather that we will be tracking.
01:58Just look at how this line explodes in intensity as we head into Friday afternoon.
02:03This is where we're going to see the highest potential of severe weather there late Friday into early parts of Saturday.
02:08And you can see this line of severe weather will stretch from pretty much Pittsburgh all the way down through Memphis and Little Rock.
02:15So this is going to be a very expansive risk of severe weather here as we head throughout the next couple of days.
02:19So for the risk, we're tracking pretty much everything damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes will all be included here for areas like Evansville, Louisville, Paducah will be included on this as well.
