00:00One of the National League Cy Young frontrunners is Yoshi Yamamoto for the L.A. Dodgers. He gets
00:05the start tonight out in L.A. against the Athletics. Nearly a $3 money line price in
00:12favor of the Dodgers at the Ravine. Minus 290. Total at eight and a half. What's the play tonight
00:19in this California clash, which is an interesting thing still for the Athletics who play in
00:24Sacramento? Yeah, by the way, let's just take a look at the minus 300 price. Oh, that's easy.
00:29They'll always beat the Athletics. Did you watch the game last night? Yeah, it was a smash job by the
00:33Sacramento Athletics last night. Absolutely putting it to the Dodgers at home. Now you take a look at
00:39the pitching matchup and you might think it's heavily skewed. Not so fast, though. 31 pitchers
00:44on the card today. Yamamoto's number three. His XFIP minus number 63. His ERA 1.80. His XFIP number
00:512.51. That's tremendous. But check out Gunnar Hoglund here. Right behind him, number four on the card
00:58today. With an XFIP minus number of six, excuse me, 73 and a 2.38 ERA and a 2.99 XFIP number. Now
01:06granted, Yamamoto has 156 batters that he's faced on the season and Hoglund's only got 44. So limited
01:12chances here. And we always expect that lineup to bounce back for the Los Angeles Dodgers. But this
01:17doesn't sound like a price point that's, you know, measured up to what I got last night. 10 to 1 maybe
01:21last night for the Dodgers and the A's aren't showing up. No. Last night it was an over only because
01:26the Athletics put up the amount of runs that they did last night. I'm not paying that price point,
01:30but I'm not saying the Dodgers can't win and won't win this game. But buyer beware in that one. You
01:35see that big price here. The pitching matchup isn't all that much different just based on some of the
01:39early analytical numbers.
