00:00Today, DRS, the Dodgers, a home favorite at the Ravine at minus 164
00:05to start this second series of the year between the Mets and the Dodgers.
00:09How does this one begin tonight in Los Angeles?
00:12We might get some runs in this one.
00:14Like Paul Blackburn, like you always remember him from his Oakland Athletics days,
00:17not a great pitcher overall, going to make his debut in Major League Baseball this season
00:21after pitching in the minors, which again, hasn't had a lot of success even in Minor League Baseball.
00:26And you're coming up to the big leagues now.
00:27Oh, Tani, Betts, Freeman, Hernandez, Muncie, Pies, Conforto, Rushing, and Edmund
00:31look to be the estimated one through nine in that lineup.
00:33And a lot of those guys, regardless of left-hander, right-hander, pedigree pitcher or not,
00:38they've done extremely well.
00:40Also, temperatures in Chavez Ravine, a little bit cooler than we saw in that Yankees series.
00:44Mid-60s here, light wind blowing out the center field, but the New York Mets on their side
00:47going up against Dustin May.
00:49May has struggled a little bit, particularly over the last 30 days against right-handed batters.
00:52You finally saw Pete Alonso get a home run yesterday.
00:55Could he be into the mix, but also take a look at Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo,
00:58Juan Soto, Pete Alonso, Brett Beatty, Jared Young, and also McNeil,
01:02all having high ISO power numbers against right-handed pitching here.
01:06So for my money, I do think that the Dodgers are a better team tonight
01:09because I'm not trusting Paul Blackburn, but number two,
01:12maybe a better look would be the total on both sides here.
01:15Why can't we get runs?
01:15We got a lot of runs in that Yankees-Dodgers series all the way through those three games,
01:19each and every one of those games hitting the over.
01:21Why can't we get 10 runs again tonight?
