Pompey Talk is back - the day after the Blues announced their retained list following the end of the 2024-25 Championship campaign.
And in this week's episode, there's only one place to start - the Blues' decision to let Kusini Yengi leave on a free transfer.
Indeed, host Mark McMahon asks Jordan Cross for his verdict on the club's decision to part company with the striker and tries to get to the bottom of the question: Where did it all go wrong for the Australian?
Also up for discussion is Pompey's decision to retain Zak Swanson, whether the Blues really need three right-backs in their squad, Cohen Bramall's short-lived Blues career and the need to sign a striker this summer as a replacement for the departing Yengi.

00:00I think it was maybe a perfect storm of different circumstances.
00:04Remember Cassini-Yenghi was starting at Leeds,
00:06he was going into that game, he was leading the line.
00:10Then he just didn't get going, he got the groin injury there.
00:15He then, as a season of impact, he was impacted by injuries and the injury.
00:20Picked up on international duty, which I don't think helped him with the supporters.
00:25I think the fact that it's gone away, the momentum is looking at certain times,
00:29like it's arriving, and then he'd go away on international duty.
00:33There was questions asked about the kind of idea of players going halfway across the world
00:39and coming back again, and whether that made an impact in things.
00:43It wasn't great optics to support, and I get that.
00:48But what's he supposed to do?
00:50I don't want to represent my country, if I was an international, I'm sure most of us would.
00:54So, yeah, I think that's a little bit harsh, but it just didn't get going for that.
