There’s plenty of ground for Jordan Cross and chief sports writer Neil Allen to cover this week including the blow of Rob Atkinson signing a new Bristol City deal, talk of Alex Robertson returning to Fratton Park and fit-again player boosts.

00:00Yeah, so, yeah, it's always interesting the first day of pre-season and it's also changed over the years.

00:06They do get involved in ball work a lot earlier on as well.

00:51And, um, uh, one stage used to go on a bike and shout instruction to them.
