00:07procession to the Legislative Palace. Headed by President Yamandu Olsi and with the participation
00:12of several of his cabinet members, the procession began at 10 a.m. local time on Wednesday from the
00:18headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic through emblematic streets of Montevideo and
00:23places closely linked to the political and militant life of Mujica. The body of the former
00:28head of state will be laid to rest in the hall of the Lost Steps of the Legislative Palace where
00:33citizens will be able to enter to pay their respects during a 36-hour public wake. In addition,
00:38world leaders are expected to arrive in Montevideo to attend the burial. Mujica's passing has
00:44greatly impacted Uguayan citizens with the government between a three-day morning period
00:49from May 14th until Friday, May 16th.
