00:00The reckoning of votes cast for the local government polls in the country's capital city hit a few snags last night,

00:07setting back the stars of the county in at least a couple of hours.

00:11Hence, while most of the winners of Manila's poll races were announced today,

00:16the official and much-awaited declaration of the winning mayoral tea ticket had to take a rain check,

00:22as our Isayah Minapointis reports live.

00:30There is no doubt, Scochi Daulid Manila has therefore formally proclaimed as the mayor and vice mayor of the city of Manila.

00:41Former Manila City Mayor Sco Moreno Dumagoso has just been proclaimed as the next mayor of Manila.

00:48His party, Nancy Achenza, will be the city's next vice mayor.

00:52A huge crowd gathered to witness the proclamation of the new leaders of Manila.

00:57As early as noon, supporters of Yomi flocked to Manila City Hall.

01:01At 6 p.m., Sco Moreno arrived in Manila together with Chia Achenza and their party mates.

01:09The vote counting in Manila took longer than expected.

01:13Last night after the election, the counting was delayed by two hours due to signal issues.

01:18It was around 9 p.m. when the first election returns started arriving at the canvassing center.

01:22By 1 a.m., the counting was temporarily halted because some clustered proceedings needed manual transmission.

01:29The counting resumed at 2 p.m. today.

01:32And just recently, Moreno and Achenza were officially proclaimed as the next mayor and vice mayor of Manila.

01:40Sco Moreno won by a large margin over incumbent mayor Hani Lapina and San Versosa.

01:45Meanwhile, in the vice mayoral race, Chia Achenza also led by a wide margin over Yung Nieto.

01:53The following candidates won in the congressional race.

01:561st District, Ernest Judicio.

01:582nd District, Roland Valeriano.

02:013rd District, Joel Chua.

02:034th District, Dr. Giselle Maceda.

02:065th District, Erwin Cheng.

02:086th District, Joey Uy.

02:10Around 5 p.m. today, the proclamation of the new Manila City Councilors began.

02:16Princess, make Manila great again.

02:19That is the promise of Isco Moreno when he begins his term as mayor.
