00:00What does it say?
00:07Jesus told Nicodemus he must be born again in order to be saved.
00:12John the Baptist told his disciples that Jesus was the Messiah.
00:17What does it mean?
00:19As a Jewish leader, Nicodemus must have started this conversation believing
00:23he was already part of the kingdom of God.
00:26Yet something drove him to meet with Jesus secretly.
00:31When Jesus introduced the truth of being born again, Nicodemus had to make a choice.
00:36Humbly turn to Christ for eternal life or hold to his religious pride and perish.
00:42Unlike human birth, spiritual birth is a choice, requiring belief in God's Son.
00:48God offers salvation because of his deep love for mankind, but each person must make a choice.
00:54To reject Christ is to choose condemnation.
00:58How should I respond?
01:00God loved.
01:01God gave.
01:02We believe.
01:03We receive.
01:05That's the message of salvation in a nutshell.
01:08God loved the world.
01:10That means everyone.
01:11But you must face the same choice as Nicodemus.
01:15Salvation or condemnation.
01:17The only condition of salvation is to believe that Jesus is God's Son sent to save you from
01:23your sins so you can live fully committed to him.
01:27Are you like Nicodemus, a good and moral person who has never acted on God's gift and had a
01:33spiritual birth?
01:35If so, will you stop now, confess your sin to Christ, and ask him to give you new and
01:41eternal life?
