00:00In other news, the price of National Food Authority or NFA rice in Kadiwa Nampangulo sites will drop further to only 20 pesos per kilo starting May 13.

00:09This will be available at 32 Kadiwa Nampangulo sites across Luzon, particularly in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Mimaropa.

00:18Simultaneously, the rollout of 20 pesos rice will begin in the Visayas.

00:22The DA will adopt Cebu's distribution system for rice, which uses a digital ID system with QR codes to monitor the purchases of each beneficiary.

00:32Under this initiative, eligible beneficiaries will be allowed to purchase up to 30 kilos of rice per month from Kadiwa Nampangulo sites.
