00:00The crime rate in Metro Manila has significantly decreased by 26.08% in the first four months of 2025, according to the latest data from the NCRPO.

00:10From January to April, only 1,627 crimes were reported, a sharp drop from 2,201 incidences in the same period last year.

00:20Major crime categories that saw a decline include rape, physical injuries, homicide, murder, robbery and theft.

00:27Despite the decrease in crime, the NCRPO maintains a high crime clearance efficiency rate of 99.32%.

00:35NCRPO Chief Police Major General Anthony Aberin urged the public to remain vigilant and alert for their safety.
