With over 20,000 Snoopy plushies, toys, and figurines collected from all over the world, Lisa Ridey may be Australia's biggest fan of the Peanuts comic.

00:00Snoopy appeals to everyone because we're all a little bit like Snoopy in like he has an

00:15imagination and so it pretends to be certain things certain certain jobs and things like that and

00:25the life he leads he gets frustrated gets angry gets hungry and all that and you

00:35kind of relate to him being all this and it's like a life philosophy you know and

00:43yes it's also cute too

00:55my husband at the time says what do you think about getting married and I said

01:02well if you get me a big fat Snoopy I'll think about it so he's from France and

01:08he went back to France and he saw a large Snoopy in one of the window shops and

01:16they weren't actually selling it so he asked them would they sell it to him and

01:23and they said yes okay and yeah so then he proposed with the big fat Snoopy so I

01:30couldn't say no well you're my dog now Snoopy the the ring my husband gave to me

01:40on the wedding night and he got the best man to get a gold Snoopy ring from Japan

01:48and he nearly missed his flight the best man coming back he was on the business

01:53trip he had planned to put a diamond in Snoopy's collar on the ring and then on

02:03the wedding night he gave me a Snoopy pencil case with pens and stuff like that

02:10and inside that was the ring so I was really surprised and thrilled because it's

02:20what I wanted and I didn't think I would get it

02:23the dog's name is Snoopy that's a pretty good name we'll keep it
