00:47the pressure of cities, the busy lifestyle and people just come down to their own level.

01:00It's Winifred Moose English. I'm named after my nana who's called Winifred Amp,

01:05a tenant farmer's daughter born in Rippon in North York. She's the fourth of five.

01:09I was named after my nana who was 59 when unfortunately she died nine months before

01:13I was born of a barrack of Spain operation. She was called Winifred, I'm English and I'm called

01:19Winifred Bruce English. They were so upset to lose a mother that I was only, I was always called

01:23Ruth English apart from when I was at Richmond Conway where I'll call my mates and I knew me as Winnie,

01:30as you do. And my father bought this guitar when I was 12. We went to a folk festival near Beardale

01:36in North Yorkshire and nobody was coming to the marquee. I thought what the hell am I going to do to bring

01:40me in. That's how it all started. The other half was ill and started making produce and we made

01:46this song called Winnie's Yorkshire Delights, a Be true bellish song, which I've been singing

01:49for the last 11 years on the market in North Yorkshire. Are you ready? We're ready. Okay.
