Rangers 1-1 Celtic reaction

Graham Falk reports from this afternoon's game at Ibrox.

00:01Full-time here at Ibox and it's ended. Rangers won, Celtic won in the fifth and final all-time of the season.

00:07A competitive game that will leave both sides having some regrets.

00:11Rangers thinking that they'd taken the lead in the first half through Nicholas Raskin's header.

00:15A really great header but when you watch about the replay, the far decision to rule it for offside is correct.

00:21Although it will be frustrating because it's largely just the top of his shoulder.

00:25Rangers would take the lead through Cyril Dessers who had barely touched the ball in the first half.

00:30But when he got the one chance, Dessers, he took it excellently. Really, really well placed.

00:35And it came about a minute after Adam Eder had missed a glorious chance with Celtic into the lead.

00:40But he wasn't to be denied the second half.

00:43When he scored the equalising goal, a good bit of play.

00:47He's probably quite fortunate to be onside for the simple reason that it comes off Soutar.

00:51Which means that, you know, naturally he is onside. I think if he hadn't, maybe that would have been disallowed.

00:56Who knows? He reached up the goal really well.

00:58And it means he'll have no regrets about that, missing the first half.

01:01As the game wore on, it looked more and more like it would be a draw.

01:04The chance was up for you and far between.

01:06Again, as it is, the draw doesn't do much for Rangers.

01:09The rest of the season is largely playing for pride and there's no more bigger game than this.

01:13But it's the third game on beating against Celtic.

01:15So for the home side, you know, they will feel that there's a platform to build on for next season.

01:20I thought Raskin and Diamonde played really well.

01:23But as for the travelling Celtic fans, who you can hear just behind me here.

01:26They leave feeling defiant with a fourth successive and 55th record Scottish title already in the bag before they even got here.
