Star Wars cosplayers the North East Legion put their high-quality replica costumes to good use by helping raise money for charities across the region. We caught up with them at North East Nerd Fest at Gateshead Internation Stadium - watch the special episode on Shots!TV

00:00People aren't expecting to bump into Stormtroopers and Darth Vader while they're doing the weekly shot.

00:04We help charities and events with Star Wars characters.

00:07I hired the group to an event that I was hosting.

00:10I thought, you know, just the work to do for charity, I'm going to get myself a costume and get right involved.

00:14I spent about 20-30 days working on The Last Jedi.

00:17We see the kids, the adults, see Star Wars stuff and think, oh my god!

00:20I didn't tell my partner how much it cost, but it was plenty.

00:30They're still in charge, and they're still in charge.
