The Dreaming Chick and the Eagle an animated cartoon
Transcript
00:00High in the snowy cliffs of Windspire Mountain,
00:03an eagle named Arden ruled the skies.
00:06His wings sliced through clouds, and his sharp eyes
00:09could spot a mouse from miles away.
00:12He was proud, fierce, and flew alone, as eagles do.
00:17Far below, in a cozy farmyard nestled
00:20at the foot of the mountain, a tiny yellow chick named
00:23Pip lived a very different life.
00:26Pip was small, fluffy, and always curious.
00:30While the other chicks pecked the ground
00:32or huddled under the hen's wings,
00:34Pip would stare up at the sky,
00:36dreaming of what it would feel like to fly.
00:40Chicks don't fly, plucked his mother.
00:42Stay on the ground where it's safe.
00:44But Pip couldn't stop dreaming.
00:47One day, a great storm rolled in.
00:50Thunder cracked, lightning flashed,
00:52and the wind howled through the valley.
00:55The rain flooded the farm, and in the chaos, Pip was swept away,
01:00tumbling, tumbling, until he landed
01:03near the rocky edge of the mountain.
01:06Cold, frightened, and lost, Pip chirped for help,
01:10but the forest was silent.
01:12Above, Arden was flying through the storm,
01:15searching for shelter.
01:17His sharp ears caught a tiny cry.
01:20Curious, he swooped down, and there,
01:23trembling beneath a fern, was the tiny chick.
01:28What are you doing here, little one?
01:29Arden asked in his deep voice.
01:32I got lost in the storm, Pip peeped.
01:35I want to go home.
01:36You're far from home, Arden said.
01:39But I will help you.
01:40With surprising gentleness, the mighty eagle picked Pip up in his talons,
01:44and soared into the sky.
01:47Pip clung to a feather,
01:49eyes wide with wonder.
01:51Never had he imagined the world from so high.
01:54The trees looked like broccoli,
01:56the rivers like silver ribbons,
01:58and the clouds like pillows drifting by.
02:01On the way back, the storm worsened.
02:05The winds grew wild, tossing Arden to and fro.
02:09He could no longer see the farm through the fog.
02:13He landed on a rocky ledge and tucked Pip under his wing.
02:17Rest, he said.
02:18We'll try again at sunrise.
02:20That night, Pip asked,
02:22Arden, how did you learn to fly so high?
02:25Arden looked at the stars.
02:27I fell. Many times. But I kept trying.
02:31Flying takes more than wings. It takes courage.
02:35The next morning, the skies cleared.
02:38Arden flew Pip home safely.
02:40The farm animals gasped to see the mighty eagle gently placing the chick on the grass.
02:45Thank you, Arden. Pip chirped, bouncing with joy.
02:49Be brave little one, Arden said, before soaring away.
02:54From that day on, Pip was different.
02:57He walked taller, looked higher, and whenever the other chick said,
03:00you can't fly, he smiled and whispered, not yet.
03:04And up in the sky, Arden watched from the clouds,
03:08proud of the tiny chick who dared to dream.
03:27That is a cart.
03:27You want to do more.
03:41As always be reminded from the woods.
