00:00Is it all worth it wasting all of our life after running behind all this?
00:05Do you see everybody is competing in some way or the other?
00:07Somebody gets into sports, somebody gets into some cultural stuff.
00:10Don't you see we all are competing in our own ways?
00:13So there is something common within each of us, all of us.
00:18And that commonness is called our fundamental discontentment,
00:23which is continuously begging to be taken care of.
00:27It is saying, please, please, please, I am you.
00:30Take care of me.
00:30But we do not listen to it because we cannot look at it because it is within and our eyes cannot look within.
00:35So we start running hither, thither in some random direction.
00:38Let's compete.
00:39Let me be the best in something.
00:40Let me be the best in that.
00:42Okay, I am the best when it comes to girlfriends.
00:43I have five of them.
00:44Somebody else who has not been lucky in any measure comes up and says,
00:48I am the best in not having girlfriends.
00:50I am absolutely zero.
00:52I too am a topper.
00:53The dimension is different.
00:54We want to be the best in something.
00:56The thing is, the thing within says you have to be the best.
00:59We do not realize what it means to be the absolutely best.
01:02So we decide to be the best in something, anything.
01:06That best is called the self.
01:09Self.
01:09The one who really are.
01:11That's what the inner dissatisfaction is crying out for.
01:14And because you do not address it,
01:16it manifests in all kinds of stupidities,
01:19including ambition and competitiveness and whatnot.
01:22Man was always competitive.
01:23Do not think it is a disease specific to your age.
01:26No.
01:26No.
