00:02Anthony Belton, offensive tackle out of NC State.

00:05So, obviously, power conference, offensive tackle.

00:09You really can't blame these teams as we get a little bit deeper into the draft

00:13for getting deeper in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

00:17Yeah, 6'6", 336 is where he comes in.

00:20And think about where Green Bay was, Mike,

00:22in terms of the playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

00:25Josh Jacobs got contained by a bigger physical defensive line

00:29led by Jalen Carter, and Jordan Love was inconsistent

00:32because he was under complete duress the whole game.

00:35So, now you shore up the offensive line.

00:38You protect Jordan Love.

00:39He battled through injuries throughout their regular season last year,

00:43even in the playoffs.

00:44And you have Josh Jacobs, a workhorse that can carry it 25 and 30 times a game.

00:50You add Matt Golden in terms of that offense with their pick number one.

00:53Now they have more consistency.

00:55They're getting back to the identity, hopefully,

00:57of where they were at the end of the regular season a couple years ago

01:01where they knocked off Dallas in the playoff game.

01:03Obviously, a very competitive division with the Lions and the Vikings above them.

01:07They are a team, historically, Joe, that does not do a lot in free agency,

01:11and this year was no different.

01:12They added Mikko Hardman in free agency.

01:16Really not much firepower.

01:18They did have the number six rated offensive line, according to Pro Football Focus, last season.

01:25So, Belton adds to it, to your point, another weapon for Jordan Love.

01:29And the Packers felt like a team that had certainly preseason momentum.

01:34I had them as a Super Bowl contender and a Super Bowl pick.

01:38And there were times during the season where we felt like, man,

01:41if the Packers just get it all together, if they bring everything together,

01:44they're going to leapfrog the Lions and the Vikings.

01:47And that never really happened at the end of the season.

01:48No, it started week one, Mike.

01:50They go to Brazil.

01:51They go toe-to-toe with the Philadelphia Eagles.

01:53Jordan Love suffers the ankle injury.

01:55He was never right.

01:56Then it was the groin.

01:57And then he battled injuries throughout the regular season.

01:59Malik Willis came in in terms of backup duty.

02:03But at the end of the day, they weren't 100%.

02:05And in the playoff loss, they got beat up by a more physical defense.

02:10That's why the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

02:11But we'll see what it plays out for Green Bay overall.

02:14I think win total-wise, 9.5, 8.5 in that area.

02:18And they can get there as long as they're healthy.

02:21And Bolton and Golden definitely helped them get to that level this season.
