01:59he's a young athletic player that could be utilizing a multiple uh looks throughout the

02:04regular season and provide depth for bone in that defense they are legit their defense and we talk

02:09about teams just being able to compete year in and year out that defense is going to be their

02:15top 10 for the next three years because of these type of players and talent in the last five in the

02:20last 10 years alabama has had the most first round selections out of any school in the 20 in the nfl

02:27draft that was their second first rounder going tonight tyler booker 12th overall to the dallas

02:33cowboys 31st overall jihad campbell goes to the philadelphia eagles so blue and cap a dominant defense

02:40that led the birds to their second lombardi trophy in franchise history might have just got another

02:50what were you guys hearing about what philadelphia's draft philosophy was to end out this opening round

02:56and we talked a little bit about how the lions just really trying to strengthen an already strong

03:01team the eagles the strongest team in the league last year they add a pick at a position where they are

03:07not known historically to make high draft picks but jihad campbell clearly ranked very high

03:13in a lot of prospect lists and he goes here at 31 mike this is a top 20 player and the eagles who

03:20typically don't do this once walter nolan their number one guy that they wanted went off the board

03:24early they just took the best player on the board now i know donovan as a rock who is a lot of guys

03:29a lot of eagle fans wanted this guy but guess what campbell's a highly highly graded player he's he's

03:35higher on their board and everybody's boards so now they got zach ball who's being paid 17 million

03:40a season who by the way mike was signed to be a backup edge rusher and a special teamer i mean this

03:45is what happens sometimes you're just lucking yourself howie risman's a great gm vick fangio the

03:50best coordinator in the league by the way they had the number one defense last season but they lost five

03:54starters kobe dean is one of them he tours he suffered a torn patella tendon he might not be back

03:59till mid-season he's on the final year of his deal this is a no-brainer this is a great value pick

04:04with a great football player and it's funny the guys were talking about going back to the sec the

04:08eagles really ignored the sec for two decades now nobody goes harder at georgia and alabama
