01:36like oh damn did the patriots really do it and then i was like oh dude yeah i mean what what do you

01:43think of jacksonville moving up and what they gave up to move up i like what jacksonville did a lot

01:50more than what cleveland did i think trading back to five to get the defensive tackle when you just

01:56signed miles garrett to that major extension like i feel like travis hunter is i know you know he's

02:03not maybe going to be the elite receiver if i'm the the browns i would i need a guy like travis

02:08hunter more than i need a guy like mason graham that's just my perspective i don't know our draft

02:12guru thinks but i thought that jacksonville won that i mean big nuts on that new general manager

02:17who looks like he's 17 or 18 years old yeah he's younger than i am uh it's it i hated the trade i

02:24thought they gave up way too much for a kid that doesn't play quarterback like that was an absolute

02:29haul uh cleveland clearly indicated they wanted nothing to do with this draft they wanted out they

02:35got their future first round pick next year they got a bunch of other picks they have a ton of holes

02:39to fill uh i think that was a great move by cleveland and the jaguars are taking a massive risk and

02:45because they're the jaguars it likely will backfire yeah i i just look at the jaguars being in a

02:51position where they got a new coach they try to i think they're they're building a new stadium so

02:56maybe they're trying to you know revitalize the organization they got trevor lawrence and you go

03:03up and it looks like that uh travis hunter is going to be in because the head coach said it is mainly

03:08going to be an offensive guy and you'll sprinkle them in on defense i don't mind that you i mean you

03:14literally gave up a first round for next year um if they fit if travis if they feel like he's going

03:20to be a legit wide receiver they gave away a first round for next year and a first round for the

03:25following year to move up correct no i think it was just one i think they did shine did they not so

03:31they gave up uh jacksonville gave up five a second and the next year's first yes so cleveland has his

03:38first yes cleveland has two of the first five picks in the second round so they gave up a first round

03:43pick for next year um and i'm like all right if you feel like that's like i would have given up a

03:48first round pick i mean obviously more for aj brown not necessarily that position but they feel like this

03:55is going to be something that revitalizes the organization the fan base i got no issues with

03:59what they did with it um he's going to be mainly an offensive guy so i just want my biggest thing when

04:07i looked at that i kind of knew the first three picks everybody kind of knew it my thing was with

04:12new england i i just like i don't even care about the omelette like i'm not saying this kid's not going

04:18to be a good player i i just i the arm link thing is the most ridiculous argument of all time but the

04:26the bottom line is you so i you you draft you went and drafted for need i thought they weren't going to

04:33draft for need so okay we have been guilty of whining about the offensive line that's fine

04:39i just don't know why you're willing to pass on somebody in my case it was genti like i you know

04:47i feel like that's somebody who's going to be an explosive addition to your offense and is going to

04:54give drake may an alternate weapon right i but you know you wanted uh tyler warren you wanted ty

05:01he went somewhat somewhat late yeah he went to indianapolis at 14 the second tight end taken behind

05:07the kid um from michigan which was yeah loveland which was a shocker to me but i i look at it like

05:13this so let's say the patriots with their second round pick take a running back a wide receiver a tight

05:22end i i just feel like you could have got an offensive lineman that might be might might not be as good as

05:29uh uh will campbell as a player but you missed out on taking a maybe generational skill player right

05:39can we go over what are running backs paid in terms of rank in the nfl and what are left tackles paid

05:43left tackles uh uh way ahead of running backs one's the top yeah the other outside of specialists

05:49is the bottom running backs are the least highest paid non-special teams position in the nfl

05:55so if you're going to say to me you can find a running back even the good ones are cheap than

06:02mediocre tackles you can't find cornerstone tackles especially now that you could have traded for tunsel

06:08shaman i agree that's what they should have done but in terms of free agent franchise left tackles

06:14those are very infrequent but if you look at the elite running backs that are at the top of the market

06:20and getting paid saquon barkley christian mcafree um those guys derrick henry those guys are generally

06:30high first round draft picks the elite you can i'm not i'm not saying you can't get a good running back

06:35later in the second what's more easy to find a good running back in the second round or a good tackle

06:39in this but yeah i think we're like when we say good that's like the that i think that might where you

06:46and i differ when i'm talking about potential to be elite right so if i the man is the next emmett

06:54smith i mean give me a break oh i mean yeah that's the comparison for everybody yeah well i mean i hate

07:00this argument on the subaru of new england text line we missed out on a running back in the first round

07:06give me a break greg okay then you pick your you pick your poison we missed out on a skill player on the

07:14offense in the first round that's that that is my assessment of why the first pick by the new

07:21england patriots when you're when you're sitting there with a number four pick and it and it bothers

07:25me sorry about that and if you don't like running back well you also missed out on the best receiver

07:29who went only a few picks after you as well by the way because i the way i look at it curtis that

07:34like to say good like yeah you can find good players but i was talking to uh jones and keith about this

07:40my thing is when you look at the fourth overall pick let's say will campbell is elite when he's all

07:48said and done and aston jenty or tetaroa mcmillan or tyler warren is elite when they're all said and

07:57done they're they're hall of famers i would much rather have the emmett smith than the walter jones i

08:04would much rather have the randy moss than the orlando pace i would much rather have the rob

08:11gronkowski than you know orlando brown jr yeah but i mean no hall of fame left tackle joe alt my

08:20favorite player but i i hear what you're saying in that i actually like that they didn't take a big

08:24risk i feel like vrabel is here because he's meat and potatoes he's getting the organization i heard

08:30mike reese's report from espn pre-draft saying their goal was to get foundational support for

08:37their franchise quarterback and that's what this but you're right if ashton jenty is really great

08:42and will campbell is even good you can say that that was a mistake or even if will campbell's really

08:48great right but but you're okay with the pick like you were you were reasonably happy last night with

08:52the big well you know i've learned to not fight things i cannot change so um i i feel like will campbell

08:58is a guy that was basically inevitable and i i did i did become somewhat concerned with jenty when i

09:06saw him wearing the bedazzled crocs like i am not a bedazzled croc guy massive i was that an

09:13ick oh yeah for you shy yeah yeah that's what the young kids are wearing though the young kids love

09:16the crocs what is the opposite of an ick because as much as i rail on travis hunter uh as an nfl player

09:23what he was wearing last night was awesome
