Mounting dislike of Peter Dutton has sent the coalition's primary vote plunging to its lowest level in a leading poll as the election looms large. YouGov data via AAP.
00:00The latest YouGov poll shows the Labour Party with a 53.5% lead over the coalition.
00:07That would be Labour's biggest election victory since 1946.
00:11And for the Liberal Party, the coalition's primary vote is now at 31%.

00:57And this is a catastrophic poll for the opposition.

01:04And what this shows us has been the coalition only six weeks ago were within striking distance of government.
01:13And this has been the most dramatic turnaround in any poll for the coalition since John Hewson's defeat in 1993 when he led for the polls by a huge margin right up until the end.
