00:00first major of the year for the ladies uh give me the card and you did see i tried to throw that
00:06Nellie Scottie double in on Easter Sunday uh and it just didn't go well for me last week
00:10well you know coming into this the Chevron it's a big golf course it's over 6900 yards which is
00:16almost unheard of for the LPGA players so you gotta have some ball strikers on your card it
00:21starts with Lauren Coughlin for me plus 2800 Lauren was third in LA on Sunday she was second
00:26at the match play right before the masters she was third here at the Chevron last year she is a
00:31great ball striker very steady player very major championship worthy Angel Yin Angel went deep 28
00:37under par in Thailand this year she's an incredible putter and she's worked really hard she's like JT
00:42Poston she's worked really hard on her ball striking the last year or so and she's become a much more
00:47complete player plus 3300 she lost here in a playoff to Lilia Vu the first year they played out there at
00:52the club at Carlton Woods for the Chevron championship knows the course and can score
00:57and then the other one Aki Iwa yes I know she let us down with a bogey on the 72nd hole but she is a
01:04rookie from the Japan LPGA at plus 4000 there's value there she could really really play she showed
01:11it out at LA I know she got a little nervy on the last hole but she's powerful she could strike
01:16ball and she can putt uh how about the uh we've got the placements as well now we do see uh Nellie
01:24on there as well for your placements for the Chevron top five I've got Gino Tidakul all right
01:30she top fives all the time she's got 11 top fives in her last 17 starts with two wins top 10 I'm going
01:36with Nellie number one in the world she's been struggling a little bit with the putter but that
01:39still means Nellie can come in in the top 10 top 20s yay let me know she won already this year and
01:45she's an incredible ball striker first on the LPGA and tee to green and then the last one Nana
01:50Kurtz Madsen she pounds the ball one of the longest off off the tee on tour she's also really good
01:56around the greens and can score she's had a good start to her year really solid with the 20 places
