Cruise Director, Carly Scott, tells us all about the nonstop entertainment onboard the Disney Dream.

00:00Hey there, I'm Andy Summers from the XTU Morning Crew, and I'm here with our cruise director, I almost called you Julie.

00:07But it is, I am very similar, very similar.

00:10This is Carly, and she is our Julie, but only on this cruise, on the Disney Dream.

00:15So how long have you been working on this ship?

00:17I've been up on this ship for about a year or so, but I've been with Disney Cruise Line for nearly 12 years.

00:21Oh my goodness.

00:22Yeah, it's been a whirlwind adventure.

00:23Did you work your way up to be cruise director?

00:25I certainly did. I started entry level and worked my way up through all the different ranks and positions,

00:29and it's been a whirlwind adventure every step of the way, and I love it every minute.

00:33Right.

00:33Well, Disney is such a fantastic company because they're all about us, right?

00:37Like, they want to make sure that we are having such a great time, and it's not only in the care that the Disney,

00:43the good folks at Disney do to take care of us, but it's also how they keep the smiles on our faces with such great entertainment.

00:50Oh, we certainly try non-stop entertainment from first thing in the morning to last thing at night.

00:55Yeah.

00:55So what is your absolute favorite thing to do on this ship?

00:57Oh my goodness, that's really tough.

00:59The Broadway-quality stage shows, of course, is kind of a must.

01:02It has to be done.

01:03Yeah.

01:04But then I have one event, which is my favorite event of the entire cruise, and it's called Jack Jack's Incredible Diaper Dash.

01:10Tell me about this.

01:11We race crawling babies.

01:12It's the number one spectator sport where we do race crawling babies.

01:16They're real babies.

01:17Real babies.

01:17Yeah, real babies.

01:18Not like we're dressed in a diaper.

01:21No, 100% real crawling babies.

01:21That is not Disney stuff.

01:23Right.

01:23No, we do babies.

01:24But it is the cutest thing ever.

01:26It really is.

01:27If we had the opportunity, that would be on the CD.

01:28Okay.
